@Paraclete333 Why Don't you commet else where. if you think its better than ESET you must be wrong sense I checked ESET's site on interactive-comparison bewteem ESET and kaspersky. ESET beats kaspersky. VB100 Awards – 70(ESET vs 33(kaspersky). Don't belive me check there site. kaspersky also only had up to 8 Proactive Detection Awards, ESET has 14.

People who just say Kaspersky is better than ESET are the type of people that are to lazy to look at charts to see that ESET is at the top, Never misses 1 in-wild-virus and 0 false postives. Kaspersky only made 1 false postives.

installed final release today - and I'm downgrading back to Smart Security 4.2

eats-up memory (85-90MB when not scanning), kills the CPU (99% when scanning!), lots of bloated features (parental control? in ESS? WTF? there are dedicated programs for that if I ever need it!), childish interface with big stars and HUGE green check marks...

ESS 4.2 ran like lightning on my good old Windows XP machine. this one makes it barely usable even when it isn't scanning anything!

is there an official release date for ESS 5? I can't seem to find it anywhere, and it has been in RC stage well over a month...

also, will EAV also be updated to version 5 or just ESS?

I won't try out your RC, because I don't use unfinished or unstable versions of important things like antivirus/firewalls, but will buy your finished product if it proves good enough.
