I know! I came late to the hall and could not mount the brand new tripod to the camera because the hall was dark. But it was a great evening. You could replay the entire concert in sequence accessing the PLAYLIST. Best of wishes!
I AWARD THIS 4 DRESDENS...You handle the sonorities in a very lovely manner.BUT THERE IS NOT ONE MEMORABLE PHRASE OR EVENT HERE.
The message that you're passing along to your audience and students is that it's a sacred mission to elevate this rhetoric to the level of a perfectly beautiful vapidity.YOU PLAY THROUGH ALL THE EVENTS WITH THE SAME TREATMENT.NOTHING IS INDIVIDUATED.
Beautiful. I love how the two boys looked at each other. Their ability to communicate is very important when playing with a large orchestra. Good job.
I never knew him in person but remember his "demeanor". He looked Intensely dedicated to his art, stern or serious. Must have been a wonderful mentor!
Hy! I'm Maria and I'm from Spain. I'm playing viola and I'm also playing this work with a friend who plays violin. The truth is they play very well I wish that some day we will can play like them. And the other movements, is possible listen them here?
muy buena su interpretacion, soy sergio de colombia me gustaria ponerme en contacto con uds, yo toco viola y estoy montando ese mismo dueto con una violinista, mucha suerte camilo
I tried without success to mount the camera to a new tripod. But the music was not affected by the jarring because the microphones captured flawlessly the event.
From 6:33 to 7:00 the camera went "loose and wild" and focused on the roof. (LOL) ;-)
I really love this piece.

This concert was memorable. It was a great musical evening even thought I was not capable of assembling the tripod *in the dark hall*

Hmmm...
The phrases on 2:59 and 3:55 through 4:07 (for example) were memorable :-)

I heard "Ricardo Odnoposoff violin Paganini Campanella vc 2 (not4)"
In Puerto Rico there was a notable cellist with last name: "Odnoposoff". Was he a relative of Ricardo?
YTM021807 3 years ago
I don't know if he was related. Ricardo was born in Buenos Aires...
Greetings,
Rolf

Yes - Adolfo Odnoposoff was Ricardo's brother. I was privileged to know him as a friend. Fine cellist - lovely gentleman. He died in 1992.

Not bad, maybe little bit too fast. I don´t understand why do you play the development twice. I know there is written a repetition, but it´s not

Es muy bien. El empiezo era confusio, pero el otro es fantastico.

Wow, what I great performance. Hector should come to Puerto Rico and perform here with the Symphony Orchestra.

the violist could have been stronger on the vibrato. I'm not a viola hater. I'm a violist myself.
