  • your television very small

  • yeah - it's kinda sad, isn't it. :)

I didn't buy it - it came with the apartment. But it works well, so no complaints from me. :D

  • ama is a mongolian sumo

  • Yes - both Ama and Hakuho were born in Mongolia.

  • they both still hold the Mongolian password. (by the way the Mongolian law is the u can be a citizean of only one country) u either choose Mongolia or some other country so they are still 100% Mongolian

  • I'm sure both men would like to retire back in Mongolia one day, so it makes sense to hold on to their Mongolian passport. But they may both become stable masters after they retire, so it might be a while before they live in Mongolia again.

  • Thank you very much.Very nise.Today AMA he's allready OZEKI now.Big SUMO AMA congratulations to you.Thank you man for about AMA's vids.

  • Yes - Ama got promoted to Ozeki and his new name is Harumafuji. :)

  • Thank you very much.Nise video.AMA- he's allready Ozeki now.Congratulations to Big Sumo AMA. YRAAAAAAA!!!!!! Thnak you men for about Ama-video.

  • Ama is my favorite, too. I hope he gets promoted to Ozeki now. :D

  • Ama is my favorite too :).

  • Yeah - he did OK in the recent July bashou in Nagoya - but still not quite good enough to be promoted to Ozeki. He'll get there tho... :)

  • I like Ama! His technics are amazing! I really appreciated when he beat Russian guy!

  • Greetings from Japan. AMAzing video! I enjoyed your comment.:)

By the way I guess he would need at least 33 wins in three consecutive bashos in order to be promoted to ozeki. Hopefully he gets there sooner or later...

  • Yeah - he has a chance at double digit wins this tournament, but he has to beat Kotooshu tomorrow (Sat). I'll be rooting for him! :)

  • Mate, I'm loving your vids with the sumo commentary and have subscribed. Awesome match today - I can't wait to see Hakuho take on Kotooshu tomorrow!

    Peace

  • It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.

  • true! :)

  • ありがとがざいます、ジェソンさん!Your sumo videos are awesome. You have really gotten me into the whole sumo craze. Keep them coming.

I never understood why sports like sumo and rugby aren't American favs. Rugby is football WITHOUT pads, what could be more bad? And sumo has these balls of muscle rushing and slamming into each other to THROW the other out of the ring! ぜんぜんわからない。(Love that shirt from your niece's video by the way =P )

  • Thanks! More sumo vids in the coming days leading up to what should be an exciting final day on Sunday.

  • Love these videos Jason, I think its excellent that you can watch these matches with English commentators. Are they shown on terrestrial Japanese TV?

    Regards, Ed.

  • Hey Ed -

Yeah, NHK broadcasts sumo everyday for a whopping 6 hours, from noon to 6pm. You can watch in English for the last two hours of each day, from 4pm to 6pm, by hitting a little button on your TV remote.

  • I have tv japan now. I have the dvr ready so bring on the sumo.

I watched a match the other day and was surprised that there were a few eastern europeans in those matches.

    Ama is a bad ass!

  • Yeah - Ama is really fun to watch - I hope he mounts up the wins and gets promoted to Ozeki this year.
