Been practicing this lately. I'm doing not bad I think. :) Those fast parts are pretty hard though... Vey beautiful piece. My favorite part is 1:10 - 1:41.
i wonder what six dicks came and disliked this video. i mean, if you dislike classical music at its finest, thats not my problem, but when you go on a video of it on youtube and decide to dislike the video, screw you
is it weird for me to be wanting to learn particle physics & astronomy while i already am learning 3-d animation & modeling & programming? & im only 17... i guess im a nerd but ive always been interested in coming up with ideas for making renewable energy (i already have had a few good clean energy ideas but i wouldnt know who to talk to) ive also had some good ideas on how to improve space travel... *sigh* these jumbly thoughts in my head arent being put to good use...
Music hath charms to soothe the savage breast(Congreve)or the ignorant, uneducated, murderous, bigoted, uncivilized,&cetera. What a fabulous reason to be human! Merci, monsieur Chopin.
I cry every time I hear this piece. I adore Chopin and this has to be one of my favourites of his. Also, Janusz Olejniczak gives it the best rendering. Of course, a Pole playing a Pole's composition. There is a deep, Slavonic passion here which touches the soul.
Chopin seems to have intuited the end of something, whether of his own life or that of the culture his talent gave expression to. But he saw inklings of ongoing life as well, and gave them his blessing, as well as he could, poor, sensitive, devil...
everytime i hear this its like going back in time! such wonderful warm tone in every note. this is the most wonderful and will be one of history's best
This song makes me cry, it's just so beautifuk.,.. The movie is incredible, if I had more than 2 thumbs, I would give more than 2 thumbs up. Amazing movie and amazing song.
My Polish piano teacher told me a great anecdote about Olejniczak. At the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, Janusz was in the final concerto round.
He was waiting through the long orchestra introduction, then a few measures before suddenly started adjusting the height of the bench - then in a split second his hands shot from the knobs to strike out the opening chords.
This sets my heart on fire, and at the end, resurrects it from its ashes... O_O

It speaks right to the soul. Thank God for music. It is what speaks for us from within. It helps us understand who and how we feel inside.
And that is wonderful.
