This Track Was Played At My Dads Funeral As They Carried His Coffin Into The Church.! <3 Was One Of His Fave Tracks <3 RIP 8yrs 2moro 09/12/57 - 15/11/03
This is when people weren't afraid to just go for it in the club & dance like nobody's watchin. This was positive dance music! So much more unique style and excitement back then! Feel that positivity!
Black, white, red, gay, straight it didn't matter. Nobody in this scene was tryin to be tough or hard....just bein all about the music & spreadin the love!!!
WOW...idk if you guys noticed but there are so many dance styles right here...i can see dougie, cat daddy, tecktonik, dubstep and even more....this video is Epic !
this tune and a lil fella can defo be credited with the best nites out ive ever had.funnily enough listening to this again brought back memories like it was last week.. awesome ... 5 dislikes wtf is that about. u deaf cunts
@soulofshiver You do realise that I'm as white as a sheet...quite obviously your profound repost "proof your a cunt" proves you're as inteligent as your are articulate, not to mention a real hard man, posting offensive remarks over the internet, I think the expression "come here and say that" springs to mind but obviously that's physically impossible which is the only reason you replied, so lets be honest, we all know who the real C*** is, don't we..thumbs up if you agree..!
this was a bad tune.id like to force every horrible little racist oasis fan to watch this to show how blacks and whites can get on. i remember this scene cos from 1991 to about 1994 this is all i cared about.folks dancing.oasis came along with their cretinous take on "british life" the rave scene headed up their own arses and the wankers had won. theres never going to be a scene like this again, where blacks and whites are equal.indie..forget it,,grime...its too geared towards violence.
this is beautiful and this shows how low society has now sunk -- look at this 15 years ago, everyone happy smiling and just enjoying life -- now the new generation of young black people are fat kfc munchers, rude and abusive
@thekingbiggles its nothing to do with everyone pilled up is it ?.but i agree ,as a manc i wouldnt dream of going to leeds ,liverpool ,stoke and sheffield without accepting it would kick off .until that is everyone got loved up.and enjoyed the tunes
My best mate dj Dobbo was Amnesia House first dj and i will never forget the days of Me him, Sasha, Groovrider, Miki Fnn and the man called carl (cox) playing at the Eclipse and travelling all over the country in 1 night.
What days that we will never forget, respect to everyone that has kept this going.
ps. Tiesco just seen you on bali hai Pier in pattaya, thailand nothing to say but thank you
Playing With Knives was the rave tune that bust boundaries. It got played everywhere, by everybody - from Rocky 'n' Diesel to Danny Rampling to a million hardcore DJs. Playing With Knives is the perfect snapshot of an era, when Shelley's and QuadrantPark reigned supreme, when whistles were de rigeur, when huge piano riffs, nuclear-lunged female vox and head-fucking techno interludes could all co-exist on the same record. Naive and simplistic maybe, but it's a fucking great tune all the same.

Amazing tune - amazing fashion - where did those Betty Boo headbands go? I had a pair of Travel Fox trainers back then - oh dear - but the music was 100% amazing - Freedom to Party!!!!!
a true dance classic! must have dropped this in every one of my dj sets for ten years..it never fails! im still in the clubs at 41 years old but the whole vibe has changed; then it was about having a good time, now its all about the 'check me im a bad man' thing, and going round in groups of ten intimidating people..such a crying shame.
Whos the young black dancers "1.31" they are AMAZING! i loved this tune! dogs Bollox, yep all them years ago i wish we could go back in time! things was so much better then! now a days its all negative dull and just shite!
@bootsamou I used to dance like Leroy from The Prodigy. I stilldo it now and then when dancing with my neices and nephews they love the Old Skool rave tunes.
Bloomin' 'eck. I remember they even featured a track by Apache Indian on this show! 'Chok There', if memory serves me correctly. Mainly because a woman they showed dancing in the audience clearly mouthed the words 'Drop dead' to it.
I remember this when it came out. Normski on Dance Energy. God, I remember so much of it! Moby on it as UHF. And a stormingly awesome live version of 'Everybody In The Place' by the Prodigy. Take me back to those days!
Holy fuck... Loved the track back inthe day, never saw this or any other video of them. I always thought it was a couple of grimey geezers and a sampler LOL... And for once the mad ethni-vocals are by a chick who isnt obese :D 2:30 breakdown is the bizniss.... LOL @ all the 90s house dance moves... Funny but no worse than the stupid shuffle on hardstep kids be bustin out these days
christ it's like a 90's version of Zumba... one of the greatest dance tunes in my life! not the best. but its in my dessert island discs! got to get up got to feel good!

@xoio I didn't think I'd offend so many by saying that. Still I don't take back what I say, I can look back on these dancing habits and laugh. I'm not saying they're wrong, they were probably very fashionable moves at the time.
Yeah, was probably still in nappies at the time... and you're an old cunt? Your point being people age? Good one

Found this today and can't stop playing it - lots of memories - yes the hardware isn't plugged in and the dancers never went to a rave but it is bloody brilliant!

good laff, great times, ps can any1 see the cords cumin out the keyboards, mmmmmmmm didnt think sooooooo must ov had bluetooth back in the good old days lol
if only the youth of today really new what it was like to go raving back in the day there mite be less blade and bling and shit music god they were the days when the country was united in dace black white pink or yellow all welcome with no bad vibes
the guy dancin 4 biz inc wi the long hair & white top cud really move! i learnt a few moves from him myself! Yep deffo sum respect 2 him! this is 1 ov the tunes that was 1991 4 me. & Dance Energy wa a quality music programme on def II !
cant believe this is over 20yrs old,,this when bbc 2 was gud when it tapped into the youth culture of dance music,, tv broadcasting of the rave culture like dance energy and the hitman and her on itv brought a lot of people together and created a lot of RAVE NUTTERS!!! not like the raves of today where u step on someones shoes you will get strung up..
They look like there having the best of times. its probably summit to do with all the eberneser good lol

cant believe this is over 20yrs old,,this when bbc 2 was gud when it tapped into the youth culture of dance music,, tv broadcasting of the rave culture like dance energy and the hitman and her on itv brought a lot of people together and created a lot of RAVE NUTTERS!!! not like the raves of today where u step on someones shoes you will get strung up..
