I like it, but I can understand the criticism of the 'haters' down here. Some of the sounds are quite cheesy indeed (such as the organ). Other than that I think this is performed very nice :)
The vocals and the harmonising (the only thing this guy is good at) is okay but the organ riff just sounds dumb and incongruous - like a cat chewing a bee while two lovers lie on a bed trying to discover each other, but constantly interrupted as the cat pipes up with his silly noise.
It's not as good as the original or brings any hidden depth or additional nuance of meaning out of the song and he should not have attempted it. Exploting an existing appreciation of it reeks of bad advertising.
