I swear all the Lucario users neglect his down+B. It's an amazing move for just overall avoiding damage and dealing plenty. It does take a bit to perfect.

Granted, I'm quite aware of that, but I prefer the strategy of keeping the opponent of balance and just constantly hitting him. Of course you gain damage along the way, hopefully enough that you can kill him while still at a relatively low percentage, maybe 70%. Then, you just hammer on them again after they respawn and at a high percentage kill them again, so you maintain a constant 2:1 ratio of kills:deaths.
