@Infantryhawk2 to get back your old channel. the 2.0 design. Click edit channel in top right hand corner, click on channels version, you'll see this next. it'll be top left corner, switch back to old design. This worked for me :)
Zippcast holds many features Youtube does (Uploading videos,Watching,Rating videos,Subbing people Etc..The basics) and many that YT doesn't have or never has had (You can also upload Audio files and pictures for people to view, not to mention Zippcast has a Chat system ) It has a Nice channel Layout, Almost a copy of the YT 2008 Layout.
So what are you waiting for? If YT wont change, then go to the place that will give you what you want, Zippcast.

@StaringAtTheSunrise No you keep kidding yourself. If a great many, even though they might be small to medium sized channels sub and view wise. Youtube will still loose income. If it goes on TOO FAR. Big channels who doesn't care about the money (there are those too you know.) quite possibly might close their channels. Which means in total there would be billions of view loses in total. This would without a doubt hurt and in worst case shut down yt if continued for to long.

My friend told me that he checked the comments on YouTube's blog post 8 times about the new Beta channels and on average 99.98% of the comments were against the Beta channels and .02% were for the Beta channels.

@HTPtheFirst I personally abhor every aspect of these new channels. To me and a lot of other people, the old channels were all of what you described, easy to find what you need, and nothing too much crammed into a tiny space. YouTube has been speeding downhill ever since Google bought it, and Google are the people who forced this abominable trash upon us a year ago.

@HTPtheFirst I get what you mean, I just disagree with you. I view these new channels as the opposite of sexy and convenient. When these channels first came out, their kinks rendered navigation about the page impossible. (i.e. infinite loading times and the occasional missing button) I had no problem with the old channels, and frankly, I liked the look better and still do. The beta channels are more or less as configurable as the old ones, I think, and the level of convenience is not as high.
YouTube is retarded now. I want to find a better video sharing site until YouTube understands that people do not like the direction that they are going.

@HTPtheFirst I personally abhor every aspect of these new channels. To me and a lot of other people, the old channels were all of what you described, easy to find what you need, and nothing too much crammed into a tiny space. YouTube has been speeding downhill ever since Google bought it, and Google are the people who forced this abominable trash upon us a year ago.

@HTPtheFirst I get what you mean, I just disagree with you. I view these new channels as the opposite of sexy and convenient. When these channels first came out, their kinks rendered navigation about the page impossible. (i.e. infinite loading times and the occasional missing button) I had no problem with the old channels, and frankly, I liked the look better and still do. The beta channels are more or less as configurable as the old ones, I think, and the level of convenience is not as high.

@njnya we had groups , we could listen to music without assholes making them private or the WMG taking audio , instead of thumbs we had stars and there were no thumb whores , instead of in soviet russia jokes chuck norris jokes and justin bieber jokes we had people who would post chain letters in the comments , whenever you replyed to a comment you could see your comment right under it so no scrolling , and the best part : NO ADS
