I think it's a wonderful pop song. If Katy P had released it there'll be no complains, but gaga give us a first impresion of her new album with a few remixes and it's kind of a diferent feeling there, so everybody's horrified... I listened to both and honestly don't see much of a resemblance.
It's so funny that the haters think by hating on the song they're doing it harm, it's #1 in plenty of countries already. So keep talking about it, it only gets more downloads.

It's ok but I kinda feel like there is to much dancy music on the best part. The way she sang the first time we all ever heard it was awesome but this, well. you can barely hear the main point of the song. It's kind of strange. And the monotone for the verses, just no. The only thing that differentiates itself from other songs are the lyrics (which I love) ...the beat, tone of voice, combos, everything has been done before ... by who? Madonna.
I get she's Lady Gaga's musical inspiration, but she does need to bring a little something different to THIS generation (and it has to be more than wearing Alien shoes). I believe she'll do just that in the future ... she'll keep working hard and bring her own beat and we're going to love it.

Here's my opinion...Im preety sure this is not the best on her new cd but its preety much required to be a single. Personally speaking, I think she knows this is not her best but has to put the worst out their first. If you look back Just Dance wasnt like OMG at first then she put out Poker Face to really awwwww everyone. It's a strategy people. Give them a little at first then wow them later. Coming up with something totally new is something really difficult to achieve, even for Gaga. I personally prefer songs like Speechless, just her voice and the piano. But that's just me maybe.

Madonna's video for Material Girl, the curly blond hair &cone bra all came from Marylin Monroe &other 50's and 60's women. Smooth Criminal was heavily inspired by Fred Astaire in The Bandwagon, & he didn't create the moonwalk, Cab Calloway did. MJ also imitated alot of dance moves from Bob Fosse.
