This piece makes me cry. Sounds a bit like Chopin. So touching and personal. Ivo Pogorelich is my favorite pianist. His touch is sublime. I hear his interpretations are bizarre nowadays. I hope he continues to make recordings.

Yes, nowadays he plays very strangely, even stranger because he can play really well, but he forces himself to have weird interpretations (maybe some very idiosyncratic over-interpretations). Anyway, his Scarlatti from 80es is one of the best recorded Scarlatti out there.
