Many people agree this is the best arrangement of Oblivion for a solo instrument and piano. Please, please publish it. What does the Piazzolla estate want in order for an arrangement to be published? Please comply with it, you have many fans waiting to purchase it.
This is such a lyrical performance...sensuously beautiful music! The subtle, tender delivery of both parts of this tango strongly contribute to the high quality of this arrangement. This is art of high caliber! I'm hoping to purchase the printed music from your website someday, Greg! I listened to another performance of your arrangement on YouTube (so it must be out there somewhere!), but this performance is the one I overwhelmingly prefer. Bravo, Carl and Greg!
The origin of the tango comes from the hand with the brothels and slums. He ran in the waiting rooms of brothels, while the men waited to spend the fourth of the prostitute of the day. There you danced with men. But it also ran on the streets, with an organ. So, obviously, the tango was a bad word ... was the street, what is dangerous. Speak of the 1900s. Piazzolla is one of the greats of the genre. Arolas, Cobian and Bardi ... ABC's tango! The greeting from Buenos Aires - Argentina!
I am just so thankful that I was put into a position of having to "program" my church services for the last 8 months due to an accidental injury sustained by the rector. Through this, I looked for different versions of "Sheep May Safely Graze." Through that search, I found Greg and his music. What a phenomenal talent, a welcome addition to my world. It makes me happy to be alive right now. And Carl: wonderful strong and sensitive playing here! So fine, both of you.
This haunting melody remains in my head for days each time I listen to it. Tender...moving...captivating...and the feelings these two gents create without saying a word. I think Piazzolla would say "caliente"
You /are/ going to release this song as a part of your next album, aren't you? Or at least a single, perhaps? It's a heart-clenching rendition of a beautiful song, one worthy to own.
A beautiful peace performed and arranged exceptionally well. And the video was shot and edited with feeling and an understanding of the music that reaches down to ones soul.

a touch boring
and the explanatory reference to "Pope...allowed only between men..." and to Oscar Wilde, making it even more boring to boys and girls who like each other...
Beautiful arrangement -- I would have never connected euphonium to Piazzolla -- the climax really soars! The piano playing is eloquent and rich -- it takes a special talent to get that Piazzolla mood just right. Congratulations!
So... the Pope considered the dance so lascivious that it was banned, allowed only between men? As if no lasciviousness can exist between men? The Pope should have known better than that. As if to make this point, this beautifully produced video creates more than a little sexual tension -- as in the Tango, taking full advantage of the eyes. Great work Anderson and Berdahl (and Oatts and Roe)!

The song was awesome, yet i was not that thrilled with the choreograph of the video itself. Some of the shots were really creatize, but the transitions were not of my likings. Really liked he song!

An absolutely voluptuous arrangement. Euphonium is reminiscent of a cooing lover and the piano evocative of their choreography.
