We gone and played the hell out of DU1 and 2. Man, that must have been one of the best evenings I've ever had XD

I don't think so. The PS2 runs really well with the damage effects of Burnout, so Daytona USA 2 would work perfectly in this one.

They would have to come up with some programming techniques because Model 3 has twice the memory that PS2 does. It would be tough but not impossible and it probabably wouldn't be 100% pixel for pixel perfect.

What said Three Seven Speedway. It's maybe one of the most advanced if not THE most advanced Model 3 game, and for a 1998 game it boasts graphical quality good enough to make Gran Turismo series be jealous. The PS2 COULD handle it.

But of course if they could do a remake, with the same gameplay, and improved graphics for today's consoles, I WOULD SAY YES! ALL THE WAY!

I dont think even the PS2 could handle it. The Daytona 2 courses were hidden on OUTRUN 2 on the Xbox and they were NO WHERE NEAR arcade perfect and lots of frames of animations were missing aswel as background items so theres no way PS2 could do it.

No other arcade games can reach the emotion of get closer to a curve and put a #3...#2 and kick the brake to drift when you fight against the car.

Maybe... only PGR´s 3 & 4 can get closer that feeling.

BTW... PGR4 have a some blood of this classics

Whee, pleased to see there are people agreeing that Sega blends some sort of special fun... that joy you'll always never find elsewhere. At the time of very long games, annoying achievements and all, nowadays players lost the "quick fun" with simple games. What's better than choose a car, a track, a transmission and there you go in less than 30 seconds?

This game is one of the best racing game ever. When i've bought a dreamcast in 1999, the game was supposed to come in 2000... But they canceled it for the 2001 version, and it's sad.. Daytona usa 2 and scud race were so amazing... It would have cost less if they had port those game too, instead of creating a new one. Hope one day, they will port it on a console or on the pc.

Not even close to Slash. Slash doesn't do tap arpeggio's are legato picking this way. Slash is blues based. This is Reb Beach from Winger playing the guitar and Rod Morgenstein from Winger on the drums. You can tell by Reb's patented Tap/Chicken Pick Arpeggio runs.

but i went to that website you mentioned earlier and found the song, its called "tips to win"

i haven't heard that song in 5 years, the solo wasnt quite as sick as a remembered, but still very good, i just think the note choice he used on that solo is very stellar
