And no it's nit awkward at all for them because they are actors portraying characters, and when you're an actor you have to let everything go (such as shame, embarrassment etc.) to fulfil that characters needs. Hm, I must say a lot of the passion seemed lost in this last performance ;( it seems really different from ones beforehand ..

@markhunter1993 Actually, that sort of stigma for musical theatre was around long before Glee. I've been a drama student for some time and I personally found that Glee has helped. I'm still a drama loser according to half the world, but that show has made me proud to be one (not that I was ashamed before, I just feel better about it now).

I love when he says, "please, Wendla," he whispers it, and they kiss tenderly. Most of the time, he grabs her and kisses her passionately, desperately. But you can tell that this is really the last time they'll do this scene. It's the most personal scene between the two characters and the two actors, and I really love how they chose to do this -- and that part in particular -- kind of like...for themselves. Not romantic, but still intimate and together and tender and cherish it. Beautiful.

@loulovespigs They were. You'd be surprised the amount of nudity on stage. Daniel Radcliffe stripped to nothing for Equus and the entire cast of Hair strip to nothing as well.

After you've seen the play a few different times you notice those little things like how Lea just holds Jonathan way longer that before and you can see she's crying.
This last performance was just so emotional
