  • Get a higher grip on the gun. Put the "V" of your hand high in the Beaver tail of the gun and then fill the space on the other side of the gun with your other hand high on the gun press your support thumb into the frame pointing straight forward. You will notice the difference

  • anybody can ram 17 rounds off. y not take your shoot for accuracy pull as tight as a group as possible. dont be afraid of the gun to go off. dont let your nerves get you. everytime you pull that trigger the gun should surprise you not you anticipate.

    US MARINE CPL

  • Why do I see all of these people on YouTube & movies & T.V. shows who have such low grips on their guns? By keeping that overlapping portion of the frame pressed FIRMLY against the web of your hand you drastically reduce felt recoil AND muzzle flip, while increasing your control and sight picture. That and when people call magazines "clips" are my two biggest pet peeves, excluding when people say that Glocks (and friends) have safeties that you can manipulate by hand.

  • @irich62 your an idiot plain and simple 9mm is the most common pistol cartridge in existance. So the 92FS isnt a real gun, a glock 17 isnt a real gun?

  • These comments are from the same caliber of people that are "experts" in Golf . Yet, they themselves couldn't hit a bull in the rear with a banjo.

  • why did you have your eyes closed

  • are you scared?

  • How do you adjust the sights left to right?

  • manly forearms

  • @irich62 A "real" gun. That alone shows that you're too ignorant to know anything about firearms.

  • @thebarndin1234 Lol !!!!

  • Good job, you held it steady, fuck these other turds

  • Dear Santa, I have been Very Good All Year Long, for Christmas I Want...

  • @acesofspaces100 shut the fuck up

  • wtf who taught u how to shoot and hold your weapon? Did u even hit your target

  • I have this model and its pretty nice. I have put about 500 rounds through it no issues.

  • @irich62 Hey little buddy! Can you do everyone a favor and.. QUIT BEING A FUCKING DEBBIE DOWNER YOU COCKSUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!

  • sounds Like a 22 caliber, chek on page 2 >air21409<and look my video. i think you will Like the sound of my 9mm beretta! 18 rounds

  • Take it from a guy who knows. Wear hearing protection. My ears ring like a som beech and it drives you crazy. So, suit up!

  • @irich62 .40 are 4 bitches n .45s are too expensive.

  • @irich62 so since 9mm is such a bitch round it should be fine for me to shoot you with it right? Sorry but any round will kill if you can hit your target

  • What ammo do you use with this pistol? Will it shoot bulk federal without any issues?

  • @wallytuber i shoot my sr9 with federal all the time and no issues so far, over 500 rounds through it.

  • Open your eyes when you shoot.

  • (Brapboy) oh yea VERY reliable gun!

  • funny how you actually take a min to aim and then all hell breaks loose

  • Ooh, I want an SR9 now. No jam at all? I take care of my guns.

  • THE TEN PEOPLE WHO DISLIKED THE VID HAVE BAD AIM

  • Magpul Dynamics - Special Features - Drawing the Secondary

    Learn it. Live it.

  • '

    how about 10mm,,,

    why need 999999

  • Slide release!

  • impressive! :)

  • open your eyes,,shoot with booth eyes open and look through the gun,,,,

  • HOLY MUZZLE FLASH

  • some of you guys are like i like 45 derka derka derka if i shoot you in the head with a 9mm your dead i would pick 9mm if i had to choose cuz it has little recoil with a 45 it kicks back not to bad but you have little ammo for example i had a 45 i liked it cuz it had a big bullet but it only had 10 rounds 9mm up to 18 round thats great but does not matter what matters is if you would trust your life on if it jams and he has a gun what matters then so i just wanted to get that out there

  • dude ignore these fukn anal youtube know it all pussies,,,all that matters is ur armed n training.

  • slowest rapid fire ive ever seen

  • @irich62 You sound like such a faggot, you probably havnt even fired a gun yourself let alone seen one in real life. lol and by the way a gun is a gun caliber?who gives a fuck they are here to kill so if the gun kills its worth shooting. Caliber is a choice,no sense toting a 50 Cal D.E. Better yet,no sense on even having one unless you are in actual warfare. Fucking nerd.

  • @AntiChristClub

Dude soldiers would never carry around Desert Eagles. They really are a hollywood gun.

  • @irich62 Don't troll dude. It's not healthy. Seems everyone's an armchair commando now a days...

  • @irich62 I think he handled it pretty well..

  • Don't listen to the negative comments it's just fine as a video for what it's intended purpose was. The SR9 is a great gun, it's a high value gun and you did a good job firing it.

  • @irich62 Hey Richey boy, you feel big and tough don't you? Making up for something smaller?

  • @irich62 You mean like a DE .50 with a hot load? Oh yeah, I forgot. You've only seen one video of me shooting 1 gun and you automatically assume this is the only thing I've ever shot in my life and that I haven't learned better shooting techniques or become more confident in my shooting. Typical youtube commenter.

  • @mat1583 hahaha!! Couldn't agree more. What a tool.

  • @mat1583 He's probably 12. Don't feed the troll.

  • @mat1583

Don't you mean typical douchebag? These guys are in the real world too make no mistake. They just act a bit more brave online.

  • @mat1583 I actually like the fact that I can see a vid of the gun rapid firing to give me an idea of the functioning of the gun, so thanks for the vid!

  • I hate the SR9 and all its predecessors Have you tried shooting any other gun? Also, the gun seems to be terrifying you.

  • @Yaahhhhwtf It's mostly about personal preference. I fired about 6 different pistols at an indoor range and read many reviews before I decided on the SR9. Since then I've fired many other calibers (even a DE .50). Out of all, the SR9 was in the top 3 for accuracy, and I love the way the SR9 feels in my hands. I was a little nervous in this video since it was the first time I had rapid fired a pistol like this. Sheesh, I really need to make a new video!

  • @mat1583 Man shot you eye closed or was it just me?

  • @mat1583 let me tell you, i love my SR9, it is reliable and i trust it with my life. never had an issue with the gun besides one bad round that was defective. white box, the guy i let try it out didn't notice the bullet was all jacked up with a bend case and the bullet itself was curved. thats the last time i let someone try out my firearm. other than that the gun is perfect. not one failure due to the firearm.

  • @Yaahhhhwtf what do you hate about the gun, i have one, and i have put 1000 rounds with no hiccups. its a great gun with great quality. it's a gun that you might not like but you can't hate it.

  • Very nice gun the sound of it is Sexyy

  • thats a nice shootin pistol there

  • can u shoot with both eyes open its wierd because u see two sights.

  • why u guys ripping on him, 17 shots is 17 shots. does the trick

  • try to practice some trigger reset...slapping the trigger can affect your accuracy

you can still shoot that quickly if u want utilizing good trigger reset

  • @schoolboy61088 I thought it was pretty clear in this video I wasn't going for accuracy...

  • @mat1583 it is still good to practice how you play. You always want to practice good technique even when just rip roarin. Muscle memory is key.

  • @mat1583 what he is saying is you actually can achieve accuracy with that rate of fire. With a little practice and maybe some instruction trigger reset drills and 2-3 boxes of ammo you can keep a whole mag on paper.

  • @mat1583

    Defensive much?

You're welcome for the helpful tip.

  • @mat1583 i thought so too. :/

  • Why u closing yur eyes pussy

  • @Xxcodyxx66 y u not readin' coments to fin out why? Wait..your grammar and spelling are a good indication of why you haven't read them.

  • @mat1583- I agree with you, sir video maker.

  • @Xxcodyxx66 are you asking why he shut his left eye?.. so he could aim

  • Check out some videos of guys like Rob Leatham, and Jerry Miculek. Note HOW they hold the gun. Put your strong hand as far up to the top of the backstrap as possible. On a gun as ergonomic as this, that will put the bore axis very low. Wrap your support hand as much as possible, with the forefinger around the front of the triggerguard. Cover as much of the lower part of the gun as possible while lining the barrel with your forearm. You see a HUGE difference in controllability and shot recovery.

  • How much ammo does that clip hold?

  • @WickedVids4u 17 rounds = full clip

  • He was just shooting for fun ppl, dont correct him, bunch of pricks, just watch the vid.He didnt post to betold how to shoot.

  • @LouisianaPyro93 Lighten up, friend. Why wouldn't someone want to learn how to do something better. There's nothing wrong with constructive criticism. Besides, with all the animosity towards those of us in the shooting sports, doesn't it make sense to make as many the best that they can be?

  • Word, get a glock, 19 in particular

  • How is the trigger pull on that?

  • lol shootin blanks

  • I sold mt sr9 for a 1911

  • Now try a crowbar Gordon

  • nice video where did you find a 17 round mag at cause mine came with a 10 and a 15

  • wats better the Ruger P95 or da Glock17?

  • what a piece of shit....try a real gun like a 1911 ;)

  • @bloggmonster

I'd rather have a 1911 too, but no need to say that

  • @bloggmonster get a gun that won't jam,buy a Glock :)

  • Whoa, He looks like Gorden Freeman a bit

  • you look scared of it

  • Thats the problem with posting you shooting your gun on youtube everyone wants to correct you and tell you what you did wrong. Anyways do you still have the SR9? and have you had any problems with it? I love mine

  • @Nicho2177 Everyone is an expert, right? Yes, I just went to the range with it again last week. It still shoots great. I've put around 1500 rounds through it so far. Can't wait to get back out there :)

  • @Nicho2177

I think people should shoot how they're comfortable with. Teach em the basics in a day, then let them figure their own way from there! I own a P95 by the way. Just my own two-cents. *chuckles*

  • I FOUND WORLD'S FASTEST FULL-AUTO RUGER .22 RIFLE. Take look at this crazy fast gun on my YouTube.

  • fucking bad ass man!

  • No hearing protection + 9mm is a stupid mixture.

  • "Which one were you aiming for?"...........

"Uhhhh.....whatever one that has holes in it...I think the one on the right maybe"

  • didn't hit a damn thing.....lol

  • @tim06291971 I have one eye closed (aiming) and I'm not flinching - I'm absorbing the shock with my body. Think before you comment, and you may end up looking less foolish.

  • Hearing protection?

  • The only thing you should worry about when it comes to protection is how your mother forgot to use it and you luckily came into this world.

  • Comment removed

  • I wasn't speaking to you.

One would hope that a 29yo man would have more class than to post that kind of comment (even if it is just the internet).

    Have a nice day.

  • @mat1583 nice to see rapid firing on this thing but 2 things

    1. do not EVER EVER EVER cock your gun like that again. ever. hold the gun like the way you shoot it but your finger off the trigger then pull the slide.

    2. practice shooting with both of your eyes open. you'll shoot a lot more accurate and better this way

    3. and yes you did flinch as you pulled the trigger at around 0:13 :)

  • @helicon123 Thanks for the tips. That video was made shortly after I purchased the gun. Since then, I definitely keep both eyes open and flinch a lot less if at all. Flinching is to be expected the first time you let loose with 17 rounds that fast!

  • @helicon123 youtube full of experts

  • @helicon123 interesting you gave some advice to some other person about shooting with both eyes open, thats odd to me since its not the traditional approach to shooting a gun as most people peek with one eye. I noticed however that when I in specific aim carefully with one eye open I get a blurry picture sometimes when I aligned the front and rear to par. I heard someone comment about eye dominance and was wondering when do i need to move the front sights?

  • @SSSDiaz7 it IS the traditional approach to shoot with both eyes open for tactical and safety reason. You just gotta figure out how to not get a double-vision issue. I highly recommend you to get a firearm instructor. It's worth it. The tips you will gain from instructor within 30 min is invaluable for rest of your life

  • @SSSDiaz7 Eye dominance is kinda the same as hands. Most righties are right-eye dominant, most lefties left. Myself I am cross-dominant... (right handed, left eyed). Old school trick is to pick an object across the room, point directly at it with both eyes open, then use each eye by itself.... you should find that one eye shows your finger pointing more accurately at the object. That's your dominant eye.

  • If you take time to learn the reset point in the trigger, you can get maintain that kind of speed, but with better accuracy. There was a lot of rigger slap jerking the gun around. Nice vid though.

  • that was all tracers!!!

  • @pigpaul Nope, they weren't tracers. Just muzzle flash.

  • what load were you shooting?? that was a lot of flash for daylight shooting. musta been hot as hell

  • @Jynx92 Just factory load, practice ammo.

  • I love my SR9, how many rounds have you put through it?

  • I just bought one for myself just a couple weeks ago and I love it! The Ruger SR-9 is a force to be reckoned with as far as 9mills go. AWESOME PISTOL!

  • You comment like a douchebag. I was aiming with my left eye closed. Of course aiming was pretty pointless for that, but oh well.

  • u shoot fast as a motherfucker

  • LMAO! "Which one were you aiming for?"

  • I fired one of these without hear protection once.

I think my ears are still ringing.

    The 9mm round is LOUD

  • it cant be that loud,

i shoot my 12GA. without protection all of the time.

i know, i know, stupid move on my part.lol

  • A shotgun has a much longer barrel thus getting the sound farther away from your ears. A 22 pistol is louder than a 12 guage.

  • it is, I almost deafened myself shooting in my backyard with one

  • a 12 gauge is MUCH louder than a .22, but the point you made is accurate, that a longer barrel projects the sound away from you. When shooting a .22 pistol, it may sound louder then when shooting a 28" barrel skeet gun. However, try some buckshot or slugs out of a 18" shotgun, and your ears will be bleeding in no time

  • I've shot both a 9mm and a 12 without protection (Stupidity on my part, I was shooting in a rural area and had forgotten my foamies) and the 9mm sounded louder

  • I did that same thing exactly once before too. The 12 ga sounded quieter because the end of its barrel was farther from my head than the barrel of my 9x19 handgun.

  • Not being mean, but looks like you need a tad more range time, you look kinda scared when you shoot. FYI, squeeze, dont pull

  • No offense taken. I was a bit scared - I had never rapidly fired off 17 rounds from a pistol before. I'm a lot more confident now. I really need to get a new video up. Thanks for the tip.

  • I know what you mean. What happens is that people have grown to familier with "pulling" the trigger while your actually supposed to squeeze it. I tried explaining that to somone but just becouse he was in the army and they told him to to pull the he keept arguing with me that it was allways supposed to be pulled not squeezed.

  • hahah hes not holding it right keep your arms out stright. your body shakes when you shoot. im 15 abd that doesent happen to me

  • looks like a scared little jewish kid or somthing lol

  • just revisiting this video (see my comment below) and you are exactly right....^ me too!

  • wow your such a dick

  • u yanking that trigger

  • I like the SR9. If I wasn't already a dyed in the wool Glocker, then I would definitely buy this gun. Ruger makes a good product in general and theirs price point is hard to beat. $100 cheaper than a Glock 17 in general. Good choice.

  • THUNK! lol

  • in like 4-8 years i think im gonna look like you :)

  • @De908 lmfao

  • How is the trigger pull on this firearm?

  • Hey man that looks like fun, but......Take a cpl/ccw class with experienced shooters. You could learn a ton from someone who knows what there doing safety/technique. Rock on

  • I realize I should have chambered the round with the barrel facing towards the ground. But beside that, I think I was pretty safe. Since then I've shot with some very experienced competitive shooters who have given me some great lessons on safety and technique. I agree with you. It's very valuable to have knowledge from professionals.

  • Shouldn't you chamber with the barrel pointed downrange? I have the same pistol, love it.

  • if the class is available everyone should take it.the class is very informative.i took it now im waitin on my permit to carry.

  • I could care less. I shot 17 rounds as fast as possible with a pistol. I'm not trying to be a sharpshooter. Maybe you could actually provide some tips as to how I could improve my stance instead of wasting comment space.

  • The SR9 is slimmer and has a little less recoil then a Glock 17. The SR9 sits lower in your hand. I own a SR9 and a Glock 17 and love both. The SR9 fit my hand better though. I recommend the SR9to anyone who want a quality 9mm pistol for a great deal.

  • i would recomend not that ruger is bad but accuracy wise Baby Eagle 9mm. is a wow gun.

  • FUCK YOU TEXAN

    jk i love texas

  • Bang bang bang bang... and God Bless America! hahahaha

  • U got donkeypunched Ruger makes unreliable autos get a Glock. All the new inexperienced shooters get the cheap stuff & buy a Ruger thinking how great they are.

  • You can't be serious!! You sound like someone who jumped on the Glock bandwagon and is now trying to rationalise paying $600.00 for a name. This firearm has ALL the features of a Glock plus some. Rugers aren't picky about ammo, are just as accurate if not more than Glock, have fully supported chambers and there isn't a history of a Ruger blowing up in peoples hand because they are shooting reloads(Glock Kaboom). Stop believing the hype. Glock is a status symbol at this point.

  • If neither of you (boostimalaka1 , callmetw) can back up your claims with side-by-side comparisons of a Glock 9 and SR9, then I'll just delete your crap. I can't stand childish name-calling, useless swearing, and general stupidity.

I like my Ruger, the extremely improved trigger group, and the accuracy. I could care less about your opinion, but I might respect some educated response outlining third party side-by-side comparisons. Until then, please grow up.

  • well said. and the glock ISNT 600 dollars. friend got a used one for 350. i know once i post this pplz guna attack me but w/e

  • @mat1583 It's true dude, Glocks have unsupported chambers and polygonal rifling which means you cannot shoot lead reloads. However if you do not reload hot rounds and you use jacketed bullets, you'll be okay.

I've got a 17 and my dad has ordered the SR9, I will check back to let you know which is more accurate!!

  • Some of this Boostimakala1's other comments, according to his page:

"It's a shit gun. What of waste of time!"

"This fag sure knows how to take it deep in his fartbox."

"Those kids are going to have there shit pushed in!!!"

"To ensure maximum accuracy from a new barrel most inexperienced shooters like you get donkeypuched buying a new rifle and think its the bomb and cant hit shit at 500 yards."

This kid is just a troll.

  • morecowbell69 which is a gay homsexual position is indeed a flaming fag that loves getting his rectum stretched to the max!!!

  • Is that what you're "hunting" for?

Sorry, that's not my thing, but I

    appreciate you thinking of me.

  • Recall for serial number 330 i believe.

  • I got the gun back from the recall within 2 weeks, and the trigger pull is MUCH improved. Definitely less travel, and not nearly as gritty. The other huge improvement is the mag release. It's a lot easier to 1 hand/1 finger release. It was certainly worth the 2 week wait and extra mag! Good job, Ruger!

  • 17+1

  • Nope. I fired 17 rounds (see me chamber a round). But yes, had I manually chambered a round without the clip in, I could have fired 18 rounds total.

  • For anyone interested, I just got the shipping box for the recall yesterday. My serial # is in the upper 14,000's. I'm guessing that they are going in numerical order for the repairs. It should take no more than 2 weeks from when UPS picks it up till when I get it back. Great customer service, btw! (Really, I mean it)

  • Ruger is paying for shipping both ways and their throwing in a free mag. The recall is because if the safety is OFF it is possible to drop the gun just right and it will go off. the new trigger group fixes this %100

  • i love the fact that it looked like it barely had any recoil

  • *AHEM*....it's a 9 dude.

  • damn, wonder if its still a good gun to get? i like it so much and was thinking of getting one

  • There is a recall on them right now. Might want to check Ruger's website fore more information on it. From what I hear they are handling it well. I almost bought an SR9 but went with the M&P 9 instead which I am very happy with. I did just pick up a Ruger LCP and I'm very fond of it so far as a pocket gun.

  • If they releash a .40 cal model im sold! Got a P345 and I love it!

  • Did you hit anything? There's a recall of sr9 mine is on the list now.
