@narutocardnerd 55-60 is pretty much the lowest I'd try to defeat them at. It makes it so there's less need to time guarding and dodging when you're that high cuz you can absorb more damage. Just power level for a good few hours and you should be able to take them on :D

Is Decus a german? In battle he speaks only german artes out: Like Sturm und Drang (Storm and Stress), Stein Hagel (Stone Hail), Gravity Welt (Gravity World/area)

bah this game is crap, i felt like i was playing a fucking love story, story line was bs all this time ratotosk never had a true form, dissapointment,although the two disk masterpeice tos is one that i'll never forget.

I hear where you're coming from, but I still like it for its relatively unique battle/monster system.

And I still pick up TOS1every once in a while and do a run of that game with a few friends, its just that good. (1/2 experience runs FTW)

oh yeah that's what made me get this game, the monster system really brought out the rpg style of this game and the last battle with richter rates as one of the most epic fights of the tales of series.

Yup, its too bad I was way over leveled for that fight though, the "Final Battle" should've been a along string of high leveled Bosses that would lead up to Richter, and you'd fight Alice and Decus there, not earlier, like shown in this vid.

The music for the final battle also goes down as one of the most EPIC boss battle themes ever. Which is exactly why I .brstm'd that shit.

too over leveled, i struggled with that fight on the first playthrough and the song was epic but can't compare to tos last battle with mitos final destination man i had to download that, if u ever find an mp3 file of richter's epic song be kind and tell me.

this isn't the final boss but for me it was probably the hardest. Decus charging in while Alice covers from the rear a perfect melody of might and magic. Personally i couldn't wait to fight Alice cause the girl pissed me off to no end. Which is why I was angry because so much of what she said at the beginning made sense and the end of this fight I won't spoil anything but i will say this much Alice does have a heart after all. Go figure.

1) What would you suggest for monsters? I have Cerberus, an Arch Demon (I will evolve it once I find the bloody Philosopher Stone) and Griffin (Again I shall evolve it)

2)What is your move set for Emil?

1) I would suggest a Ravenous (Probably the best casting monster in the whole game, next to the Ruby Dear) Ruby Dear, (Also good caster) a Vroom, Sword Dancer, Orion, Made In Heaven, Micasa/Gunna (depends on weather or not you want a caster or a close-range fighter and a Galf Beast. Check the description for a link to a site that has the evolutions for almost all the monsters. But over all you should just have a Ravenous, Sword Dancer, Galf Beast and a Vroom/Orion for your 4 in your party.

2) Right now, I have Bup - Demonic Rage Bleft/right - Roaring Tiger Bdown - Quake Assault ==Shortcuts== Up - Raining Fangs Right - Sword Rain: Alpha Left - Light Spear Cannon Down - Savage Reaper A really good combo idea I found was this: Havoc Strike - Blade Fury - Sword Rain Alpha - Blade Fury - Sword Rain Alpha You'll need the ability plus skills equipped to do those combos For the video I made a specific moveset so I try to do combos, it didn't work ;(, also, was the cerberus a fenrirb4?

Galf Beast is EXCEPTIONALLY stronger than Wolf Heddin when you go Bear => other Bear => bear heddin => Wolf heddin, and then the evolutions for Galf beast.

This video was my first game, and as such, he was really weak, I leveled him up alot now, and he still isn't there yet, but he WILL be kicking serious ass when I do get him there :P

Heh, Wolf Heddin is faster than Galf Beast and can combo better. I might as well get both. XD Accelerate + Wolf Heddin = ownage. (too bad it takes 4ever to lvl up in the beginning of the game)

Sword Dancers takes forever to max out its P. ATK. T.T But it looks so cool! It also has Resurrect and great combos.

Well my current game is 10x EXP so leveling is really quick X3. The ginnungagap on mania is a really good place to level monsters, its even better than the Colosseum :)
