That's one mean son of a bass !! known for his explosive strikes and leaps, the large mouth bass got five senses, hearing, smell, taste, sight and touch,he also got an extra senses,THE LATERAL LINE,it's a series of sensitive nerve endings that extend from just behind the gill alway to his tail end on both side the fish, designe for picking up underwater vibration,he got internal ears inside his skull, sensitive to noise, and can get easily spooked....
Hey!, not sure if your saying it's cool or my bad?
I study sport fish as research for my company Science Fishing (.com)
Right now were looking at Crappie but compared to Bass their kinda stupid and Bass are a hell of allot smarter then most think.
If you do tank 1 they like raw shrimp when you can't get Gold fish. To get a good understanding of how they think in the wild try 2 in the tank (very interesting)
Ok, just for clarification on my part and for anyone else who happens to see this: 40 gallons for a bass to have a comfortable environment for a long term, thats 1800 litres, and 1 litre is 1 KG, which means you whould be loading 1800 kg (near 3960 pounds)into a single fishtank?
i was wondering how many gallon tank do i need for a mid sized around 8 to 12 inches for a year or less well at least till he gets too big to keep????
GO JOE!!!!
