Forgive me if I'm wrong... It appears to me that she may be in some state of samadhi, but there are several different levels of samadhi from what I understand.

I don't need a hug... I'm looking for one who has crossed the final finish line (someone like Ramana Maharshi maybe??), and I don't feel that she quite reaches that depth.

@sotthapana I believe Amma used to go to Samadhi for days when she was a child. Maybe reading her biography would help for sure! :-) But then, it is upto one to choose his/her's own guru. So choose whom you prefer. :-)

to receive a true hug/Darshan one gives up all believe and ideas even for just that brief moment. to stay in Darshan is to stay in that moment. to receive Darshan One returns back to the true self and the imagined self is forgotten. All suffering is understood to be in that imagined self. And the True Self is the letting go of that suffering. To receive that Hug is to receive True Life. beyond all beliefs and ideas.
