@divyajoshi85 Neither the Constitution of India, nor any Indian law defines any national language. hindi is just a official language for the benefit of the hindi speaking people who are majority in india. u cant force any citizen to learn a particular language then it will lead india to a dangerous position. language, religion wont show that you are a citizen of a particular country even terrorist knows hindi . only patriotic feeling shows that you are a citizen of a country. long live india..!
im indian i have to asku a question i live in america i would like to ask whn i tell people that im indian the response i get is do i speak hindi or am i hindu. fisrt of all i dont speak hindi and im not hindu. i feel people should no maore about the whole india not just certain parts.
@tmt213 - Hindi is the national language of the country ,so its obvious that Indians are expected to speak/understand it ..
