you know what i like best about this game, theres tonnes of cars that you will acctually drive, whereas on gran turismo theres like 50 different toyota yaris' and the like :/
i actually love the rewind feature cause if you're in a long race and you spin out on the last lap you don't have to restart from all the way from the beginning
I think an incredibly under-played game is Racedriver: Grid. The only thing it lacks is the in-depth customization, but it makes up for it in the gameplay.
PS - some of you really should go out and get laid. You'll probably have to find a fat chick, but maybe afterward you'll wont spend so much of your time arguing about who's imaginary life is better

I haven't played the any of the Forza's past the first one, but one thing the GT series gets its arse handed to it is in the sound dept. Forza sounds better, NFS sounds better, Dirt sounds better. Never been able to figure out why that is...

@2girls1freak, what physics, sounds are artificial, I cant even upgrade breaks, car's over steer regardless of tires and suspension setting, took them 6 yrs 2 port gt4 in hd, and 20 percent of the cars have interior view, which still look like crap. In fm3, each car was dynoed, hence the in game dyno, and natural car sounds, where a honda sounds like a honda, and ferrari like one. U get clutch button, breka upgrades, engine swaps, more tuning options= more simulation. Damage in gt is way off.
Although I play games like Gran Turismo 5 which really trains you to be a race car driver. Well a Track Day attacker actually and I play GT5 with a steering wheel and use that setup to sort of warm myself up and make up new driving techniques like Heel and toe and short braking to adapt it to my weekend track day a bit easier. Im a gamer and a racer.
Hello and thank you for reviewing this game, I own F3 myself and am looking forward to purchasing F4 in the coming months. I enjoyed your review and although I don't agree with every part of it such as the mention that there has been very little done to the graphics because I can really observe the difference in graphics between F2 and F3 and it is a noticeable improvement. Another point that I will agree with you on is that F3 and GT4 are on par but F3 is slightly better i think. Great review!

Forza 3 is an absolutely great game, the only thing they should improve is: 1. the steering is a bit sluggish and the steering wheel in cockpit is used minimally 2. the cockpit view is abit too high 3. the cockpits look good but not stunning at all and I miss more tracks (not only thousands of variations) AND I also miss more "standard" cars instead of only super sports cars (for example more cars like Golf 2 or Opel Astra...)

the reason why i stick to fm 2 is because, i drive with steering wheel and pedals, and in fm 3 you dont see the guy shifting and the steering just isnt right, but in fm 2 you see the shifting ant it looks real when you turn the steering wheel:P

Wow i watched part 1 and didn't think it could get much worse, but man this guy has got to be one of the worst reviewers ever. Good job Mark at pointing out peoples' grammar mistakes to defend your position on the game, red herring is a great fallacy to use. This review is basically you arguing back at viewers which is very unprofessional and boring to listen to since I came here to hear a review on a game. The review itself was also very poorly done since you clearly don't like sim racing.

I like the reviews of this guy. Of course, what ever one does, there will always be nay-sayers and downers and bean counters who have something negative to say, in a way that questions their own intelligence.
Truth is, except for the added polygons, tracks, cars, better handling, cockpit view, the reverse button and other details, Forza 3 is rather more of the same. I expected a whole lot more after Che's remark that their game architects have found ways to push the 360 in ways he didn't tho

@BudzMcgr33n totally agree why only premium car you can drive behind the steeringwheel cam you can change rims andt stuff like that the background design suck more then forza3 no engine swap and i mean im a honda fan but you can only push a honda civic till 400 hp and no swap no vinyls and really shit bodykits and that to make it 6 years to make and then when its finish just few months later you are gonna say that the next one will be much more better so why did we wait for fucking 6 years

@TheKingbrucus Sooo, they take 2 years to build a brand new engine and then include mostly PS2 cars? Riiiight. GT5 obviously runs on an enhanced GT4 engine LOL. Anyways Forza 4 looks even better than FM3 which was already better than GT5. But I'm sure in 6 years there will be GT6 to compete with (by that time) Forza 7.

@BudzMcgr33n mm ok first i alright know that you haven t played gt5 so if you had a 1080p hd tv which i have, a ps3 and a gt5 you would notice that gt5 has the best graphics on any racing game .. i don t have fm3 but my friend has i saw the graphics.... theyr good not better then gt5 second there will be a gt6 in 2 to 3 years counting from when gt5 lauched ..3- gt5 has alot more to do then fm3 4- the physics are the most rialistic,when you crash, its calculated the speed ,angule,direction.

@TheKingbrucus Forza 3's game engine was built from the ground up for this generation. But half the tracks and 800 cars in GT5 are imported directly from PS2. Hahaha last generation, DAMN that's SAD.
