  • Are u feeding it people food?

  • chester huh? lol

  • It took my kiwi almost 2 years to fill out. She ate like a horse and just wouldn't add wt.... Now she is 65lbs of pure muscle. Your boy looks great. Best breed of dog there is!

  • He's really skinny, you should feed him more -__-

  • @stardustmypony Young Boxers always seem to look like they're malnourished but they're not. That's a healthy looking dog, when he's full grown he'll fill out nicely.

  • @mcjacobs2488 Oh ok, I dont know much on the breed but as long as hes ok :)

  • FEED IT!

  • @DirttyWizard666 young boxers always look like this. They're not yet quite developed and they grow too fast for proper fat reserves to form, he should fill out around the two year mark. That's what mine did, and evidently he's a model of the breed.

  • @DirttyWizard666 Look...It looks weak..my boxer eats a lot,has all the conditions(he sleep's in the bed) and is poor because he runs all day and he does a lot of sport:)So they are!

  • @DirttyWizard666 my brothers dog was skinny when it was growing too... it eats, almost everything in sight... it will gain weight with time

  • Awww so cute i have a 6 week old boxer his name is Logan. I did have a 5 year old Boxer but she died in May :(

    R . I . P Lola my precious little angel.

  • lol cute pup! my boxer mix is 13 weeks but already 28 lbs, have a feeling he's going to be huge

  • Love the song cute dog thinking about getting one. I was going to get a GSD but my god I so can't afford one! So it's either one of these or a border collie. The one I might get is 12 weeks..

  • go with pedigree , or royal canin. dont feed him crazy stuff :D thats a very nice dog.

  • what is that he's eatin!!!

  • @Firestormify

That's a FABULOUS hit song, one of my favorites called, "Paralyzer" by Finger Eleven.

Check out the video on YouTube; I hope you'll grow to like it.

  • He's very cute. Shame tail docking is still common :(

  • @kingyjulie My 7 year old boxer has broken his tail 3 times for the time i've had him, and it's caused him alot of pain. I think it's a shame they make this illegal.

  • @Chrissemann Completely agree. Its madness.

  • @kingyjulie your a joke

  • go macho dog

  • Hi! So cute(: check out my vids of my 3 month old boxer!!

  • He is sooooo cute!

  • cute puppy! ...there are breeds that are more prone to cancer than others boxers being one of them. my boxer was diagnosed when he was two and given 3 months to live but that was well over a year ago and you can't even tell he is sick today! his sister or brother from the same litter got cancer and passed away.

  • Gorgeous boxer, and all dogs can get cancer not just pure breeds...

  • What a gorgeous dog!

  • Mine lived tell 11 y/o had cancer all over his body had to put him down 2 months ago, I miss my doggie

  • The video is nice enough but that music really sucks.

  • @auntbecky this music rules!!

  • Your boxer puppy looks exactly like how a boxer puppy should look like. In the US there are many weird looking boxers. Too short, too fat (they look like bulldogs) and ones with real long noses. Your boxer looks good...like a real Italian or German boxer.

  • your dog is just lovely!

  • Hes adorable.

  • What a beautiful dog - I love boxers. This one looks a little thin, I've owned 6 boxers but gave up the breed because their life span is so short. He may need worming or something??? They do have a high metabolism but they should still have a little more meat on their bones. All of mine were extremely active so we kept them on a high protien diet - at least 23% or higher depending on what time of the year. Winter they won't need as much. Beautiful animal!!!

  • @Nwoodham6801

A healthy pure breed boxer puppy shouldn't be any fatter than that. And now I'm talking about real Italian and German boxers...now those dogs that some Americans call boxers.

  • whats the song name?

  • You people are wierdos making negative comments about this dog and owner.. LAY OFF.. boxers are the sh*t and so are their owners!

  • he's too cute :-) I have a 8 month old boxer pup and he is skinny too,but thats normal for this breed. In every healthy boxer you should be able to see their ribs. If not that means : overweight.

  • i have to boxers they rock

  • People who say this boxer pup is not healthy obviously do not have purebread boxers. Especially as pups, they stay SKINNY. They are extremely active for the first 3 years of their life, sometimes longer (and are active all their life). If the dog was malnurrished, he would not be as active. He wouldnt have the energy. People need to leave ignorant comments out if they have no idea what they are talking about.

  • my boxer drools

  • OH THOSE EARS!!! Those ears! That face!

  • its true.. boxers look skinny because they're so muscular and lean.. any boxer who doesn't look skinny is actually too fat. theyre supposed to be all muscle. and if he's not, than you're not giving him enough exercise. they need more exercise than most dogs. chester looks awesome. i cant wait to get my boxer. im naming her monster.

  • what a cutey pie. Our Samson is going to be 3 In october 2010. HEs got a solid black face...hey..how can you not love these guys. Our previous boxer lived 13 years. We still miss him.but see some of him in Samson. Keep on rolling with the vids. good job.

  • first of all, chester's ears are adorable....all floppy my pups lop this wya and that. point im getting to is, he's almost 17 weeks and we feed him 3 times a day and he's still what some people would call skinny....I agree with what the other peope said, they run off the food you give them...lol Rico is probably over 30 lbs now. and my vet has never said anything about it.

  • great song choice!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hes sweet XD ;)

  • ur boxer is a healthy looking boxer! looks just like mine! SO CUTE!!!! fyi he is not skinnny just healthy and in shape! for some reason some people tend to over feed there boxers and they blow up. no there not in shape just fat. an in shape boxer should be lean and powerful. i bet ur boxer has a crazy right or left hook!

  • I have a Bassit Hound named Flynn

  • WOW, i thought that instantly.

  • Calm down people. This is a puppy, and is probably gowing through a growth spert. Plus a fit Boxer is healthier than a fat Boxer.

  • Guys the dog is fine my mom used to breed them they look like that when they're young.

  • Do boxers leave there hair everywhere?

  • @maxamillion1011 no just brush them out side and give a bath with really good shampoo weekly

  • he sooo cuteee =) i have a male brindle boxer champion breed and he is also skinny and they def. need alot of excersice there to hyper and livelyy. he practicly pulls me hes very strong. well he looks great . f.y.i- wouldnt yu think since your on the internet yu would look stuff up b4 yu ACT like yu noe what your talking about!

    =)

  • @loganskater its funny on how many people say your dog is starving because i have a dog and is about 3 years old and is really skinny but she has a high metabolism but when we fill up the dog bowl she clears it out and then she goes outside and runs and plays we have a big yard and a field people who say this dog is way to skinny doesnt know anything about dogs. if people saw my dog they would say the same thing but shes healthy and she catches animals once a week. so your doing a great job!

  • Comment removed

  • My family and I have had Boxers all my life, and they are bred and intended to have a big chest and tapered stomach...Great looking dog!

  • fcuk dat is a starving dog

  • cute dog, and great name... Chester seems perfect for him!

  • i feel bad for the dog, FEED your dog

  • such idiots. drama drama. just shut up and enjoy the video!

  • hahah way to go Loganskater!!! LOVE your response. we have two boxers. one is super skinny like chester. and she eats...twice a day, plenty of treats and even people food ! ;)

  • I own 2 boxers--and I have to agree somewhat about his rib cage- I know what you mean about their chest-but our female was the runt- she came to us at 5 weeks old and our male came to us just 6 months later; if you would like to take a look at my 2 when they were pups- Bella & Murray; we excercise ours very much- I just don't remember them appearing so thin in the ribs; but maybe it's just a bad pic/video-perhaps it just gives that appearance- it is quite apparent you are proud of your dog!

  • chester

  • My flashy brindle boxer turned 17 weeks Wednesday. He eats 3 times a day 1 1/2 cups each time and is as thin as Chester. He is a very active little guy. My 4 year old male boxer I have had since he was 8 weeks old as well and I had the same "problem." I walk them three times a day minimum. I live on a 500 acre farm. For comparison's sake, my 4 year old male boxer eats less than my 17 week old boxer. It's just their age and amount of activity. Chester looks great!

  • im only 12 but i got a 2 month old boxer (flashy fawn) and hes rly skinny but he wont eat enuf 2 b fat.

  • Boxer pups usually are that skinny, get over it people

  • The pup looks fine to me. I have a 15 week female, and she stuffs her self, and still looks like that.

  • I have a boxer named Chester too!

  • cute!!!

  • [To the ear cropping comments]

It isn't that I agree with croppng dogs' ears, but in shows, its standard, and it really doesn't hurt the dog if you do it right. They're under anestisia, and after that, they're bound to be sore for a while, but after that, the dogs don't even notice. If you take care of there ears properly after you crop them, they won't hurt the dog much at all.

  • Most young boxers are naturally skinny looking. They dont get to look bigger until they get older. Their metabolisms are so fast, and they are so energetic they just burn it all off.

You have no clue what a boxer pup looks like

  • wow I have a 19 yr old boxer and shes not nearly as big as yours! <333

  • wat was he eating 0:01_0:17

  • i had one like that but it was a diffrent color the bad thing is it got ran over but a truck i seen the hole thing happen broke her back instanly she moned and then she closed her eyes and that was the sadest moment of my life it was heart breaking ='''(

  • haha adorable i think the paw is one of the tricks boxers do best. And they all of mine immediately pick their paw up when you tell them to sit. Like oh well I know this routine you say sit I give you paw then I get treat lets do this.

  • Shut up and stop being so self righteous.

  • i have a boxer to! shes 16 weeks. This boxer is pretty big for 17 weeks

  • MY DOGGY DOES THE SAME

  • i have a boxer 2 his name is max he's one year old

  • Chester is a cute Boxer, he looks smart and alert nice ears and a great coat with a good chest and small waist. Make sure he gets plenty of exercise and he'll stay healthy. I had a large boxer as a kid, he was about 110lbs. His name was Prince, because he acted like one, lol...

  • i got a almost 2 yr old boxer named mak they are the best!!!

  • Gotta love the old fashion boxer head tilt!

  • @DarkenStone8 my german shepherd does it to

  • Cant say no to that face.

  • In reference to "too skinny" comments...My APBT was the same way. We even made homemade dog food to see if he would gain weight. (1 pound cooked hamburger meat, 4 boiled eggs, 1 can peas, & 1 carton cottage cheese mixed) we fed him this daily & his ribs still showed. Vet he was in perfect health. Very healthy diet, tons of exercise. Not just by breed, but also depends on the dogs lineage. (Kinda like people...some can look very skinny & be healthy while others are full and very healthy.

  • whats the name of the song??

  • i have a boxer that is 13 about to be 14 and still living strong

  • i just got a boxer he is only 5 months and is almost as big as a full grown boxer

  • I got a boxer he is named Cora she is 8 months old but still cutest dog ever :D

  • I have two boxers. Lucy is turning in January and Roxy who is turning 3 in June. Roxy's ribs show, just like Chester, and Roxy gets a lot of food so it's just the way boxers are when they are young. But my older boxer Lucy, has been gaining a little weight lately, but I've seen a lot of older boxers and they all tend to fill out when the get to the age of 6 or 7.

  • Your dogs very cute but very skinny (like my boxer). My family have owned many boxers and i just recently got one. His 4 months and his names dexter his adorable.

  • Pure breed boxers get cancer, my maggie just died today pf cancer it sucks so fucking bad, even with treatments and everything else it she owuld of only lived another 3 months and she was only 6. R.I.P maggie.

  • i m so sorry to hear about maggie i know what it is like

  • @Delta9son

Pure breed boxers are actually inbred,

they are not the best boxers because owners in the UK and around the world have breed them for looks and thats it.

plus they also have breathing problems which is getting almost as bad as bulldogs

the healthiest boxer dogs are those born in part with mixed genes from other dogs, yes its not really ok if your looking for a all boxer dog, but at least you can get some rest knowing that they will live a little longer

  • @Delta9son

Pure breed boxers are actually inbred,

they are not the best boxers because owners around the world have breed them for looks and thats it.

plus they also have breathing problems and inherited health problems which is getting almost as bad as bulldogs

  • @Delta9son Happened to me and my Meggie too , three years on I'm getting another...know just how you feel, they're the best dogs ever !

  • @Delta9son I totally disagree with you. Purebred dogs just don't get cancer. It's the

    way they eat.

  • Boxers are such HAMS! lol!!! My Boxer loves the camera!

  • I have 2 boxers. I love boxers! They're so cute and sweet! I have one thats 8 and she's brindle and her name is Angel, and one thats turning 3 on Valentines Day, he's fawn and his name is Ozzy. And yes, you can see his ribs, thats just how boxer puppies are. So active and full of energy! Your dog is adorable!

  • suuuuper skinny

  • Skinny for a boxer. When the ribs show, the boxer is undernourished.

  • thats how boxers look sometimes scrub

  • He is in perfect shape and we literally feed him 2 times the amount the food recommends. vet says that boxers have high metabolisms and big chests so they seem to look skinnier than they really are. she says chester is ideal and gets good exercise. there are some boxers that are obese and that is a sign of neglect.

  • I didn't mean to be disrespectful. I have a boxer and he eats and gets plenty of exercise. Few, months ago, the vet told me he was too skinny, just because his ribs were showing (just like Chester) . We take as Gospel what doctors and now vets say . I made that stupid mistake. I know my boxer better now that I have had him for a year and I agree with you 100%. I talked out of my ass, my apologies.

  • omg! i just want to eat him all up hes soo cute!

  • No problem, you can go to Lucky Garden and ask for the Chicken and Brocolli with white rice.

  • so skinny!!!

  • O,izem ti uvo!

  • Love the ears....my boxer has the floppy ears too...so adorable!

  • yah i hate it when people clip there ears so they stand up

  • Boxers prefer it. They are not only able to obviously hear unobstructed but also, they are the MOST energetic of all dogs so when they playfight, the ears are a major downfall. You have to own one to see what I mean. My wife and I probably won't be clipping our dogs ears but if he had companions, I would do it in a heartbeat.

  • i know what you mean my best friend has one named bella and another one named jo jo and they play fight a lot

  • Our 2 boxers are 7 and 8, have been together all their lives and LOVE playfighting together. They dont & never have hurt each other. Those not familiar with boxers might misconstrue this behaviour. They dont hurt their ears playfighting....& they do not PREFER to have half their ears removed - they hear just fine as nature created them, The practise of clipping boxers ears is for showing them. I think it makes them look like guard dogs not beautiful family pets. BOXERS rock!

  • I don't understand! I have 2 boxers, and I'm assuming, everyone knows that cutting their ears, hurts them! It's not like their tail where they don't feel anything, it actually hurts the dog, and I think it should be considered abuse. Boxers look cuter with floppy ears anyway.

  • Yeah, and you're probably failing every single class.

And cutting their ears is illegal in Europe for a reason you stupid bitch.

  • Also, lets cut your ears and see how you feel afterward. Because you know how cool that will make you look.

  • I have a 10 month old that is already `80 pounds named Tucker.

  • my boxer's name is tucker too! hes 3 years old though and probably 80-90 pounds. what color is yours?

  • Brindle.

  • No it's not that one , but thanks anyways :)

  • Has anyone heard a song that starts similar , but it has like a cartoon like video ?

  • The rugrats?

  • HA! nope , but thnx anyways .

  • People that dog is WAY to skinney!!! Boxers are not made that way! My puppy is a boxer and we feed her and shes very active and shes NOT that skinNey!!! No Person should see a dog's ribs. That's so sad to see a dog that skinney!

    FEED YOUR DOG!!

  • Yeah that's how the puppies are, they grown long and lean...I've got a 4 month old female she weighs 26 pounds and she eats PLENTY.

  • obviously you are clueless. we feed chester twice as much as he is supposed to get. if you knew anything about boxers, they have high metabolisms and need lots and lots of exercise to keep them healthy. owners that do not give their boxers enough exercise will have a fatter dog which is not healthy. boxers also have big chests so it makes their stomach look skinnier if they are in good shape. so if you are clueless about boxers please do not comment ....

  • @yellowlab999

I've been owning puppies since before you born, and I can tell you that puppies (for example, at 17 weeks) shouldn't be gaining much weight so early. With boxer adults, two or fewer ribs showing is indicative of a fit and healthy animal. Check out Loganskater's later videos.

I note from your list of recent comments that you have a track record of commenting for the sake of complaining or 'trash talking.' Do be careful: 15 is a very young age at which to be a trolling bitch.

  • @yellowlab999 Please do research before bashing on someone who actually takes the time to excersise and care for this breed properly.

  • @yellowlab999 haha they are getting ready for a dog fight lol jk

  • @yellowlab999 you have no idea what your talking about

  • @yellowlab999 my boxer eats every thing and anything i mean anything and you can see his ribs theres nothing wrong with it do some research before u come and bitch ...... im sure he feeds his dog don't judge !!!!!!!

  • the poor dog hes too skinny

    feed him please!!!

  • This dog is not too skinny. he is perfectly fine, healthy, and active. you can see my boxer lacey in one of my videos. she is fit like this. my mom is a vet, and said that this dog is fine. she said he just looks like he is very active. it was hard for me to get my dog to put on 5 pounds, but she wasn't mal nutri. she ate the right amount, she just had a weird metabolism.

  • im fedup read shit about how skinny this dog is only put a comment if you know what your talking about, if a dog is exersised properley they will stay slim & its only a puppy & very lively. your boxer so cute x

  • thank you for knowing what you are talking about!! Chester eats twice as much as he should but just has a high metabolism and gets a lot of exercise like boxers need

  • thats how boxers are built though, you can usually see their ribs

  • that's nice coloring. mine is the same way with a white chest and white paws

  • Thats Fucked Dude Every One who see's this goes to write the same thing until they scroll down and see that many other were tihnkin the same thing! Feed your dog... The stomach should never be that sunken in.. should be more flush with his chest.. I own a 2 year old male and he's never ever looked like that... EVER!!

  • than you don't have a purebred boxer. boxers chests are thick so it makes their stomach look skinny. they also need LOTs of exercise so if you dont give yours enough exercise he may tend to get bigger. they have high metabolisms so they stay skinny if they are in shape. our vet says he is the best looking boxer she has seen in a long time. I even told her about these posts and she laughed and just said people like you are just ignorant to what boxers should look like

  • i have a boxer and i know what they r suppose to look like and i am on my 4th one now and he is awesome

  • Yeah boxers are a very slim dogs. They have big chests which then goes in to a sleek body. Alot of people think that boxers are to skiiny but its just there build. One thing though you shoudlnt give boxers LOTS of exercise because boxers suffer from joint problems and to much exercise wears there cartlidge down.

  • @Loganskater I have a Boxer, and you should look at my video. That's what they're meant to look like. Fair enough, obviously your dog is happy, and I'm not saying you don't feed him enough, but maybe his metabolism is too high. Because that just doesn't look healthy man. And before you call me ignorant, I've had 4/5 Boxers previously, all purebred. The one currently, both parents are award winning show dogs, her father even won a best in show at crufts. So I do know what I'm talking about.

  • @RammsteinRoesli Don't know if you noticed, but your boxer (I looked at your videos) is a female, and is an adult. A 17 week old male puppy is going to be much slimmer. I also have a purebred boxer, we feed him too much (according to the food package) and he has a very tapered stomach. Boxers grow tall and thin until about 14 months, then grow out, and become a bit fuller. Maybe we all shouldn't be judging a puppy who hasn't had a chance to grow!!

  • @pwindsor4 Sorry, I didn't realize male boxers looked different as puppies to female boxers. Sorry, I shouldn't have critisiced you, as clearly the dog is happy and healthy.

  • @RammsteinRoesli No worries!! This was more of a general comment to everyone who has been criticizing Loganskater for not feeding his dog. I probably didn't need to even pile my comment on top of all the others!

  • @pwindsor4 Yeah, I feel bad now though. I can't even see why I criticized..Ah well.

Well, it's nice of you to defend Loganskater :D

  • @Loganskater agreed, the dog looks like the standard growing puppy

NO dogs stomach should be flush with its ribcage, thats a sign of obesity.

    btw great song

  • @Loganskater a mi boxer, Rufo, le pasa lo mismo, come mucho pero esta muy delgado, de tanto correr jajajaja

espero que entiendas algo de español, yo se ingles, pero ahora mismo uffff...me costaria mucho

    :P

  • Yeah... what gunbilegt said...

You really should feed that dog a little more. I feel bad for him. o.o

It's considered healthy when you can feel a dogs ribs not see them.

    ~Eskarne

  • dla czego taki chudy

  • WoW. You should feed him or her more often. It's So skinny.

  • Oh those ears! I'm in love!

You should have named him "Nester". (Like Nester the long-eared donkey). Then you could say "Ears, Nester", like in the xmas special. lol

  • his cute

  • how cute =)

we maybe soon will get a dog too^^

  • Not camera shy is he......LOL

We have a 10 yr old boxer and she acts like she's 3.

  • Whats the name of the song?

  • paralyzer -finger eleven

  • omg i love boxers i have 1 male 1 year in aug. hmmm your pup is thin
