Great Video. I used to adore TNA and literally loved it, but when Russo came within 2 months when the Sting and Abyss angle started happening, I knew it was all going to shit. Hate it with passion now, horrible show. With non WWE and TNA i cannot get behind because I like to watchweekly shows with angles going from one to the next. I find roh on hdnet not only boring but a waste of an hour as nothing happens.

cheers. yeh i remember that abyss/sting stuff feeling really out of place amongst all the good wrestling and jarrett but now it would be the norm to have some wacky crap. yeh i totally see what you mean with the roh hdnet stuff i get more satisfaction from watching the videowires its silly really.

I just found a new tprret site to go along with XWT and PWT which has given me a few missing ppv's from my collection. It's a sad state of affairs when I'm more looking forward to seeing Great American Bash 1998 than one of the top promotions biggest ppv's of the year.

..of its fanbase with its constant presentation of the Cena vs Orton feud, DX, and the same familiar faces on top. It just seems like they dont care anymore and they are happy to put out the same old shit week in week out. It never used to be like this before. We used to get a fresh, exciting product back in the day. What the fuck happened?

Thats what the apparent tv spolier said. AJ was being advertised as having a succesful title defense. Think about it though. It would be too soon for him to lose the title, plus Sting does put over younger talent from time to time.

Have you been to a live event lately? I cringed watching Smackdown live as most of the crowd was made up of Cena and Mysterio kid fans. It was awful.

I was lucky enough to attend a WCW event, the Nitro in Brisbane, Aus, held in october 2000. It was the pits.

it does make sense but tna arent really renowned for making sense haha. wow you saw a wcw event and in australia at that, that makes me pretty jealous even if it was the pits haha. As far as live wrestling goes apart from indy feds ive only seen one wwf event in 1996 in birmingham which had bret hart vs mankind and undertaker vs vader which were both great the rest of the card was quite meh but at that age i was just happy to see wrestlers live.

Anyway, has my interest in WWE ever been so low? I dont think so. The last time I went to see it live was back in 06 and since youtube has been around, I've focused on watching all the old stuff not just from WWF but every other territory, and its all so superior to the shit that is being done now. It just seems like Vince is out to test the patience...

your totally right youtubes great for checking out all the other stuff that was around back then and when wwe release dvds with old stuff on thats not their company there the ones i look forward to the most which kind of says somthing haha. but yeh your right it is usually superior to the stuff there putting out now.

Completely agree, I just stopped watching WWE and TNA altogether, I just have no excitement for it.

I do watch some ROH and Dragon Gate though. CHIKARA generally gets my spirits up, but I'm losing hope for wrestling, and I'm only 15, that shouldn't happen.

Very good vid mate. And some very well thought out points, though there was one point that stuck out for me throughout everything else you said.

When it comes to Bryan Danielson debuting, I would personally love to see them do something between him and HBK, even if they don't mention the history between them (Shawn having trained Danielson).

I'm not talking either having them join as manager/mentor student or fueding, I'd just like to see them do something with the two.
