I have problems with the Copy and Paste. After i use the Intel Scissors and edit and copy, and when i paste to a new screen which is white, the whole image with teh background pastes and not the cut out that i want. What am i doing wrong?
Woah... I just found out. anyways you have to connect the start dot with the ending dot and then it turns to "infinity" sign and then you press inside the selection :)
cont: I ended up getting frustrated with those, and a few other glitches, and downloading the newest version... 2.4.5, its a great idea to do! It runs like a charm! ... So, to whoever this video was to, DL the newest version! It will save you a lot of frustration, and you'll really love the GIMP (if you didn't before lol)
yes, we are on 2.4.5 is a little bit of a change in icon arrangement, and makes the filters work better and easier.
And yes, the older GIMP I had a horrible problem with the scissors, and the only way to fix it in the older one, is to re-do the whole scissors... you have to be very careful what color you click on with the older version of gimps...and that symbol to end the scissors is the "infinity" symbol.. and there is a problem with the older version, ending the symbol...
i have 2.6.11.. where can i download the newest one?
