Tattootraining just stopping to show some love on your channel. I been whitching u for 3 years now and I l fail inlove with the whole thing.I've learn so much. My goal is to work at a tattoo shop. Thank you, much love and keep it up
YO man how do you do the wiring of a tattoo machine and the capacitor?can i get that from scraps?im filipino im poor our country is corrupt i want a tattoo help man just the wirings
I would also like to know where you can get t-top low carbon steel cores and what you are using for washers and where you can get those as well. i have watched all your videos and think your putting up some good stuff. thanks
From watching all of your videos, I can conclude that no matter how hard you try to know about the mechanical side of tattooing. You will never become a descent tattoo artist. LOL.... I bet you do terrible artwork!
...... and ran the inner coil wire to the back binding post as well. what am i doing wrong and how can i fix it? it would be a big help!!! OH. also..... i bought my second machine from ITS and, your right, you really cant beat these machines for the price. i just got the iron new homa and i love the hell out of it. thanks for the advice and im waiting for a new vid to come out. keep em coming. thanks.
i built my own single coil machine yesterday. it consists of.... one 8 wrap coil with 24g wire wrapped counter clockwise. the frame consists of 23g springs, notched arm bar, Brass Binding Post Combo - 1, and a 47uf 35v cap all from ITS. i built it on an iron homa frame (also from ITS) IT DOESNT WORK! solders are all good. i checked, wires are completly covered so no contact is being made with frame. i soldered the cap in-line with the outer wire of the coil to the back binding post.......
@vi0lTCS i believe you meant to ask about insulating the core before winding it with wire , and in most cases you can if your wrapping a bare core and not using a bobbin use a thin tape like kapton tape but you can use a single layer of electric tape or a waterproof label tape can be used , i simply use a hi temp double lacquered wire and lacquer my cores , (along with encasing this in rubber ) .
@TheStevepwns basically the capacitor is like a can of water and will hold only so much, the bigger it is the longer it takes to fill, now you have 3 basic machine settings short medium and long stroke or fast medium slow match the cap 22uf with short fast , 33uf medium and 47 with long slow, if you used a 47uf on a short stroke it would run weak and a 22 would speed up the soft slow long stroke and 25v is all u need
@Nitzleplick there are some as i said that use a half coil in the back wither or not they do it for looks i don tknow but i bet it is , all other probably assume it "must be " the 2 coil design comes from the 200 year old model of the telegraph , if you ever want to learn more than you care to about coils do a google book search "Solenoids, electromagnets and electromagnetic windings"
@TATTOOTRAINING Does it annoy you that Tattooing today is extremely traditional and that those who go against the grain of the Apprentice-Mentor relationship are seen as scratchers, regardless of how safely they practice their art?
@Nitzleplick really the ones preaching get an apprenticeship are the one who talk out thier ass . they are haters who paid cash to learn from people who take advantage of others ,they paid to learn nothing so they are bitter and want others to make the same mistake , a apprenticeship is or should be free and is given to a real artist , , the term scratcher applies to half the punks in shops. it is misused ,
@TATTOOTRAINING I didn't know where it actually came from. It seems that presently people will call anyone who does not seek a traditional apprenticeship as a scratcher. Even though by their definition Guy Aitchison is a "scratcher" because he just learned the basics, then was entirely self taught afterwards.
@Nitzleplick ask anyone who says this where did they apprentice at ? an by traditional ? WTF ? traditionally you dont pay for it as i said it is offed up to good artist . as most people who had a apprenticeship get used ,
watch this Joe Capobianco - Do Tattoo artist need an apprenticeship?
@TATTOOTRAINING By traditional I mean, there are artists out there that say the only way to be considered to have studied "correctly" is to be used as a slave for 3 years before you ever pick up a machine. Part of what i'm trying to do is learn to do it myself, within my own home, on myself like tribes did thousands of years ago. Because I'm not going to pay $14k for school, and get used for no pay without guarantee I will even learn anything. Anyway I totally appreciate what you're doing here.

addy3dia 3 months ago

do you have any thoughts on makeing the core for the coil?THANKS

Nice video.. Hey shouldn't you insulate the coils before winding them around the core...
?

Awesome videos as always. But if the rear coil is mostly obsolete now, why do builders still use dual coils? Is it just for tradition?
