I was watching something myself the other day that was saying that you have to make your own "luck". If you don't do it, nobody else will do it for you.
YAY!!!!! High five for unemployment BS! I'm in my first semester of college, EVER, been working at a bicycle shop for four years plus and after being cut from 31 hours to 14, I am being "let go" for the season.
re: your Q... My strength comes from my relationships - both irl and, oddly enough, on yt, fb, etc. My motivation, however, doesn't come from anywhere... I really don't have any and I don't have much of a work ethic. When you're doing your thing, I'm sleepin' or hangin' out or slackin' off. Peace, MDS!!!!

I thought it was BS'y that the level of financial support for "adult learners" was... well, non-existent.
As for strength and motivation, I turn to God and my family. I just try to stay positive and know that it will end. That if I just take it step by step, it isn't that bad. It may feel sucky, but it isn't the end of the world. Other people deal with so much more than I do -
I love you. In a totally platonic way, of course, but I just wanted to throw that out there.
