I think it's important to realize whatever news gets out to the largest majority of American voters will dictate how our government makes decisions as they don't want to tamper the image that these outlets convey. I think that part of the reason that the WH jumps when these wack show hosts say stuff is because they have people who listen to them and show that they listen to them by rallying and stuff. However the huge crowd who was behind Obama when he ran for Pres. seemed to have packed up and when home because they're not as vocal or visible. (and a few of them went to the TP) I think if that group was more vocal the WH might gain some confidence and it might inspire them to stop caving. Could work. :-\

Lots of ranting this episode and for good reason. I think it's important to realize whatever news gets out to the largest majority of American voters will dictate how our government makes decisions as they don't want to tamper the image that these outlets convey. Progressives are the minority groups that ask questions and seek logical answers. Of course any government would look the other way and focus on what gets them the most support the easiest way.
