The last time I went to this place, the merry-go-round is now gone, and a stand sponsored by Gould Street Suzuki (a nearby Suzuki dealership on Gould Street), with an SX4 and a Kizashi. I'm not a big fan of Suzukis.
How are you keeping your face so steady in the video? It looks like the guys from survivorman who has a camera mounted in front of his face. I might have to move to New Hampshire. What else is there to do?
I've done a number of Road Trip videos, most of which are in NH. If you like outdoor activities, NH is a good state. Plus there is Boston just south for the more cosmopolitan activities.
@tobiosnmakky It's a 1st generation Flip. It is *very* basic. I would really like a better quality camera. But it isn't in the budget at the moment. My 'fun money' tends to go into RPG books, LED flashlights and DVDs. :)
Money is a tool. used wisely it is no better or worse than any other tool.
Yes, I do enjoy pretzels. I imagine you could get a large, warm pretzel in your area if you wanted. Or go to Germany. :) I tend to get mine at Target. They have a small selection of freshly prepared foods. It is a treat for me though. Lots of carbs.
@tetsubo57 I bet you would like the Mall of America.I was actually nervous as hell on the upper floors because the roller coaster would shake the building every time it made a circuit.
@tetsubo57 it gets more difficult to find the unique shops anymore, even around the University where there used to be lots of locally owned shops have been replaced with chain stores. The suburb I live in won't even give a permit to a shop that is not a chain store.
If and when I get myself over to the USA I must eat at diners! I heard so much about it. If I'm correct we even have an original USA diner here in the Netherlands, you know, the kind that vaguely looks like an old railroad car.
@NaomiClareNL Correct. A true diner would at least in theory be mobile. We have a few of those in New England. But they *must* have a counter. The Red Arrow has 5 booths and a long counter.
@SkallagrimNilsson Well, Dorinda used to be a model and her daughter Emma is being raised as very much of a girly-girl. Gender stereotypes and all. Cara would hate it. :)

JC Penney and Macys are the only stores in this particular mall that have an upstairs.

@AaronDArnold I actually like Malls. I find the entire concept of an enclosed space that large fascinating. I also enjoy the people watching.

It is sad to see that every mall in Canada looks exactly like your mall. All the same stores, all the same structures, everything the same.
darktoadthesticky 1 year ago
@darktoadthesticky To find interesting shops you really need to go outside a Mall.

It's always interesting to see an American mall, aka the shopping adventure-land. European malls are quite modest by comparison.
I kind of cringed at the high-pitched "I like shoes!". =) That's probably just me though, I'm somewhat allergic to stereotypically feminine behavior.

@WebExploration2011 Not worth my time. Let the 4E fans have their game.
But the Mall has no bookstore. There is a B&N across the street though.
