@xDisRazyboix well just kill the machine gunner, that will life easier, then go were the tank barrel isent fire a couple AFSDS cores at it, then, whe thre tanks barrel turns and faces you, roll and in witch ever direction you want (left or right) to avoid the shells, and if that does not work, make sure you have alot of health items, because those things hurt!. Thats how i did it, hope i helped :)

There's just a few instances of cheap design and piss-ass-hard optional monster arenas

Graphics, some weapon progressions, sigma has some boss/level additions, minor camera revisions, etc.

Some extras and the graphics are better on Sigma, since it is a remake on a modern console. Ninja Gaiden Black is also harder. I think Black is a bit better but if you don't have a Xbox you can play Sigma, great game as well. Pretty much the same game.

What do you mean you go to where you died? I'm pretty sure you go back to the beginning of the level or the last save point.

Isn't the autosave feature mandatory älways on"? That is, you can't change it?

The saving thing is for your stats of some kind I believe like certain games record how many times you died.

The sequel is a damn linear cakewalk, walking from one encounter to the next to boss to cinematic... Really lame and repetitive.

The original at least has some puzzles, Tairon acting brilliantly as a light hub with back and forth tracking as you navigate throughout the city, underground, in military bases, labyrinths, complexes...

the beginning put me off on this game... now i cant pick it up again. its so boring... run into a room, kill everything in it. run into another one, kill everything in it. i have no idea wtf is going on w/ the story, when the hell im supposed to select my difficulty, or wtf karma is and why i have time limits.

Try it again, it explains quite a bit near the end of the level.

Karma is your score, it dictates what "Rank" you'll get at the end of the level. Don't worry about it too much.

Time limits are just the amount of time you have to kill everything before you can't get a time bonus to your karma for that specific skirmish. You shouldn't worry too much about it, half the time you can get the bonus just from charging essence attacks.

The game gets pretty fun pretty quickly.

The camera looks like it cooperates more in Sigma than NG2. Its not great, but the camera in NG2 contributed to a great number of my deaths. I've only played NG2, and I have to say if I wasn't so hellbent on pushing myself to try to beat NG2 on Master Ninja, I'd say the game is almost broken.

that purplish-blue starting costume is the best costume in any of the NG series (NG1, NGB, NGS, and NG2). I like it better than the black falcon costume. I like how it covers his arms. I think the black tight leather looks like something a sadist would wear. Rachel too :(
