  • Mr. Broz, U R my hero. Greetings from Croatia. Read your articles on T-Nation. Compliments. Inspiring.

  • insane!

  • funny noise

  • this guy should be working on a farm just moving heavy shit around, animals, fences, barns, tractors.

  • Is this kid on the 2012 US Olympic Team going to London?

  • @edge9090 there are no men weightlifters going to London.

  • @BROZKNOWS I thought there was one spot to compete for at the USA Nationals? Did something change recently?

  • @konkoba98 The USA Mens team didn't qualify high enough as a team in the 2 years prior to the Olympics at the World Championships to earn spots. The last chance to earn a "wild card" is at the upcoming Pan-Am games. IF we get a spot, then the USAW has outlined a ranking system that will award said spot to the athlete who places the highest in the overall ranking. Until then, we have NO spots. The women have their Olympic Trials next month at the US Nationals.

  • @BROZKNOWS Okay. Is there a place that explains some of this? USAW website doesn't seem to explain it well and I don't want to waste anyones time asking questions... but... If we get a wild card, does the USAW ranking system give a chance for a number of lifters or is it pretty much Farris or Shankle? How much weight would a big performance at US Nationals & Pan Ams carry for the other lifters? Thanks in advance... love the lifters and the attitude!

  • @konkoba98 their website pretty much sucks balls, but it's all on there... somewhere.

  • @BROZKNOWS Why the hell are there no American lifters coming to the UK? :o

  • @BROZKNOWS What's the reason??

  • cool home gym...

  • that is raw as fuck and you are a big dude.

  • its not 300kg its 240kg still good..

  • @Johansen1000 YouTube should have people pass a basic IQ test, including counting up to 300 before they approve them.

  • @BROZKNOWS the green one is 50kg black is 10 red is 25 and yellow is 15 is in not?

  • @Johansen1000 the black are 25kg york plates

  • @Johansen1000 yeah ur an idiot mate itz 300

  • do you just oppose spotters??

  • beast

  • people who cant squat more than 150kg shouldn't be giving opinions to this guy. He's a beast and knows what hes doing

  • D:

  • I can do that. Here hold my beer.

  • sounds like a robot moving...

  • he squats and beat boxes at the same time = talent

  • Poooooooooooooooooooooof

  • It's all about the breathing. "Puwwwwwwwwwwuaaaaa".

  • You guys are great motivation... absolute monsters. I tried my first deadlift max today, and got 350, haha. But I think that may be a good start for never really doing any real deadlifts or powerlifting before...?

  • @philritter21 just be sure to keep your back flat.

  • @BROZKNOWS MAN your strong.

  • Can I have your training regimen. Your a boss in olympic and in squat its insane!

  • your form is absolutely horrendous. just kidding.

  • That bar looks like jelly :D

  • my eyes believe it, but my mind doesnt want to. lol

  • Good lift, how long did it take you to reach this weight? Keep up the great work Pat :)

  • @bonerdust...660 lb squat or 40 pullups, both pretty good feats. I did like that he didn't take much time btwn reps, but the rebound at the bottom does look a little scary. Impressive set, hope the joints (knees, hips, ankles and the back with that jar at the bottom)) hold up for you.

  • much respect for having that much depth in your squat..impressive

  • Your knees are gonna be fucked when you get old mate.

  • @LoftyProduction That's ok. It will be a perfect time to play video games and learn piano.

  • @BROZKNOWS good man, like your style!

  • @BROZKNOWS Bro the sound you make is just legendary, but its even more epic when you go abit heavier and you get that screech at the end! XD

  • @BROZKNOWS

    LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • @BROZKNOWS hahahaha omg greatest response ever.

  • @BROZKNOWS So true...

  • May i know what you are training for? Personal achievement or is they're something your chasing?

  • He looks like the red powerranger, only buff. Is he the chef buff of Greyskull?

  • booooooooooowwwwfffffffffffffff!!!!! :D

  • i believe thats heavy!

  • that bar is bending like crazy. good shit

  • Very nice! Smooth lift.

  • i usually talk shit on peoples workout videos but god damn that was impressive

  • poliquin

  • Wtf? Beast! How are your knees holding up? :S

  • @Muxen92 I know he goes crazy deep into the squat that is really impressive

  • love the noise, sounds like a hydraulic lifter haha! his legs are hydraulic! mirin' hard, wish I could squat half that weight atg

  • But can you do a pullup?

  • @sjunaz did 27 in a row

  • @BROZKNOWS not trying to be a dick or anything but i wanna see that video

  • @EHavlovic I have tons of vids of us clowning around in the gym doing goofy stuff, like launching a 16# medicine ball and trying to hit a 34' ceiling, pull-ups for max, box jumps, etc. they are usually the result of smack talking that turned into a wager. someday I will post a bunch of them.

  • @BROZKNOWS would love that!

  • @BROZKNOWS hey is it any safer to lift without shoes then with? xD

  • @BROZKNOWS dooooooooo it sounds awesome

  • @BROZKNOWS Please do post the videos! Haha I'd have a lot joy watching those :-)

  • @BROZKNOWS I would love to see any vids of the guys testing their verticals, would be very motivational/inspiring to me :D

  • @BROZKNOWS can you upload a video of pullups ? there are not many videos of weightlifters doing other exercises

  • @sjunaz pullups are a joke

  • @sdfefde yea pull-ups are a joke to people who can't do them

  • @sjunaz if you've seen this guys c+j's and snatches you wouldnt ask this question

  • @sjunaz Why would being strong mean you can't do a pullup?

  • @sjunaz Its alot more impressive to squat 660 than it is to be 135lbs and be able to do 40 pullups faggot.. Dont be such a jealous hater...

  • this is awesome

  • poooof pooooooooof poooooooof pooooooooooof

    thumbs up

  • YEAH BUDDY!!!!

  • How do you train somebody to eventually get them squatting that deep? Why do Olympic lifters high bar squat?

  • @bmook019 Because that kind of squats is what they need for C&J and snatches.

  • i see pat was snatching heavy too (barbell in the background)

  • People complain about depth of squats on youtube... well this is practically as deep as you can possibly go. He can obviously lift more with regular depth.

  • HE IS A ELEVATOR :D

  • the point of this is so you're not a faggot

  • i thought 315 was good. this video broke my pride.

  • @xthexTxvirusx this video fucked up my mind even more... I always say everything below 100kg on squat is pussy out! now... I can't say that shit anymore... 300+ or give up! fuck! lol

  • @xthexTxvirusx 315 is still really good. :) Never give a crap about how much others can lift, what's important is that you yourself is satisfied and feel the urge to break your old records. My record is at 110 kg ( about 250 pounds) and I'm quite satisfied with that :)

  • Ur a beast dude...just wondering do you ever get any aches or pains in your back from squatting and dead lifting such heavy weights?

  • @MrDTRAIN91 anyone who squats and deadlifts seriously is going to have aches and pains. You just deal with it.

  • how to justify the lifting was at 300kg?

  • i like the noise he makes

  • is he fast over 100m ? :P

  • holy shit thats some deep squats. respect

  • pwoooooooff!

  • Iron stomach

  • @bad0sa says the gamer...

  • Sumo power..

  • beast mate, lovin the sounds too!

  • no knee wraps and ass-grass form, fucking impressive!no one can take that from u!strong!

  • this is your home? looks epic!:D

  • great form!

  • 19 years old O.o HOLY SHIT

  • Fuckin great squat . You r beast. I am feelin like a pussy when i see your strenght

  • BEAST! Well done! :)

  • i am a pussy

  • You're crazy strong man... all the people here who don't even lift hatin on you are hilarious. Hope to get to where you are one day.

  • A2G, stretch reflex, RAW, 300kgx6 = 10/10 squat

  • Pat got me off the box and going to depth. Now to get my faggy box squat PR ass to grass

  • time to rack it!!!

  • no belt?

  • @MrR0FL0LMA0MG nope

  • And the point of being able to do something like this is?

  • @iTzNonLethal mmm, because you can?

  • @BROZKNOWS or for throwing

  • @iTzNonLethal Because its an incredible physical endeavour for the human race to be proud of. It exemplifies our constant ambition to maximize human potential. Similar to sprinting 100m as fast as possible or pitching a baseball at 100 mph. All athletic feats are different. Pat squatting 300 kg for 6 reps at 19 years old? Epic. Inspirational. World Class.

  • @jackintheboxoffire you sir deserve a 100 likes.

  • @jackintheboxoffire You should publish that.

  • @iTzNonLethal

The point of getting stronger in the squat from a practical standpoint it just makes most physical actvities in your life easier to do . It makes you more capable at everything in general. As i increase my squat poundages at the gym , even if im just walking around i feel more and more spring and lift in my step.

  • @iTzNonLethal how did you env up here if you even ask. go play COD or somthing lol

  • @iTzNonLethal funny thing you wouldnt comment on him doing 300 POUNDS like this because it wouldnt shatter your reality like 300 kg

  • @iTzNonLethal u can walk stairs with incredible ease

  • @iTzNonLethal the point is that he have trained really hard and long?? Pat Mendes trained hard when you fat kid were sitting in the computer.

  • @iTzNonLethal Hahaha, hey man you have videos in ur channnel when ur playing call of duty? :D and You come here to ask questions about BRUTAL power.

  • @iTzNonLethal Working out multiple muscles burns fast easily and while working out bigger muscles increases the level of testosterone in the body. Also, it is weightlifting is sport, not only exercise, so it gives all the psychological benefits of sports, including determination, willpower and relaxing from stress. I think this are enough reasons to squat.

  • @iTzNonLethal

The point is, It increases your leg muscles ! what the fuck else would you do it for you jerk

  • i hope you all know this is in kg

  • I was ready to see another disappointing video of some one barely going down....but that was very impressive!

  • @tricky feet He's hardly carrying any body fat though...

  • YOURE 19??!!!!! GADAMN

  • the bar is bending like plastic. thats sick! good job man

  • looks easy for you good squat!

  • pweeeeee

    pweeeeeeee

    pweeeeeeeee

  • sounds like one of those pneumatic wrenches.

  • damn i see u squating and my knees hurt :S

  • Such small calves, such much weights..

  • @ZaxL89 I suppose 34+" thighs make 19" calves look small.

  • @BROZKNOWS 34 inch thighs!? Jay cutler's are like 31

  • @trickyfeet17 almost 20 years ago jay cutler has 34 inch thighs, I'm sure in that time he has put on more size.

Regardless Pat is not a body-builder and his last concern is how big his legs are.

  • @ZaxL89 What do calves have to do with squats?

  • @blueviper42 the size isn't important, however they do get blasted doing ATG squats.

  • @ZaxL89 Most strength athletes don't even bother trying to get large calves. Calve are just more of a base for when you lift, it'd just be useless weight adding muscle to them. Instead people worry about massive, strong thighs and big ass on their lower body to prevent injury and become more powerful. Take a look at Konstantinovs, 3rd strongest deadlifter in the World.

  • no way...

  • Great squat dude. I noticed you went down a bit fast when you go down, me being a big guy, should I down about your speed or take it slow down?

  • mad

  • @BROZKNOWS I'm 16 years old and I weigh 285 lbs, I'm a junior in high school and I can squat nearly 700 lbs, Pat Mendes has inspired me. I will post a video in a few months when I get it.

  • @thepwnage11 by which time we will have forgotten you exist and you will continue trying to feel cool by posting bull shit

  • What a boss

  • Pouuuuw! Pouuuw!

  • Damn strong but lol the sound you made :)

  • 425lbs as a jr in hs going to pass this guy real soon ha

  • @Juan21327 I hope so. Post the vid.

  • @Juan21327 show a vid or stop runnin ya mouth on a keyboard.

  • @Juan21327 damn thats good. I currently am a jr and can do like 325 for a few.. ima a 6ft 230 lber and have some pretty good leg strength. i didnt lift in a while but i used to do like 370. and like he said.. post a vid =)

  • @Juan21327 I hope you're kidding, otherwise you're a fucking idiot

  • I can watch this with a fever and I still want to do squats. Awesome power and form.

  • pyffffff pyffffffff pyffffff hahhahaahah

  • Human equivalent to a piston.

  • that how you squat

  • lol

  • Danm, this guy is a MAN.

  • Guys guys guys! He blew out his knees and had to have hydraulic implants. He doesn't know it yet but he's going to be a cop in the ''near future''.

  • great work !!!!

  • most people who squat this much (and thats not a lot of people) barely get parallel to the floor, this guy is the first i've seen to get actual depth and actually push 660 pounds. much respect man, thats real dedication. for football, I have to raise my squat max from 300 to 405 in 8 months. i'm 5'7" 180 and a sophomore so does anyone have any tips? the usual lifts we do now will not be enough, if anyone can give me some advice id appreciate it!

  • @LaderaAirsoft max_out_on_squats_every_day

Doing this has taken my atg squats from 150kg/330lbs to 180kg/396pounds in about 6 months despite spending 1 of those months getting wasted in thailand and not touching a bar. It really works.

  • @kinkykirby glad to see it's working for you.

  • @BROZKNOWS Not only him, works for everybody. 14yo, started squating heavy everyday about a month ago. Shot up from a really horrible 225lbs/100kg to 315lbs/144kg. It works, people. I increased by 90lbs in a month, and I'm in my Sophomore year in high school. Get squatting, gentlemen.

  • @RandomStevie what works please do tell i wanna get stronger with my squats xD

  • @LaderaAirsoft you've got plenty of time man, stick with it and maybe try some deep squats or front squats for variation.

  • @LaderaAirsoft do olympic lifting and get a strong core and you've got it

  • you sir, are very good at what you do :D

  • how many years it took him to squat that much

  • this dude does hardcore real squats

  • Man I love how he walks away in the end... just like godzilla in the old movies because his legs probably feel like oooold trees (though it's awesome). Everytime I squat I have a hard time walking aftwerards - And I don't even get close to his weight. Very impressive and sorry for my bad english :D I hope he stays healthy! His form cannot be faulted.

  • Now that's what i am talking about!!!!

  • Great lifting bro, majorly impressive!

  • Fucking human hydraulics.

  • He sounds like a forklift.
