at least record it with an amp, and if you can't afford one go to the closest radio shack and get a chord that plugs from your bass into the microphone slot in the computer (it's only like 5 bucks)

It is actually a 4 string Thumb Bass. Just gave it a makeover after this. Victor Wooten has given me a revitalised interest in bass playing. Getting into the up and down style thumb technique. Waiting for thumb to strengthen up!!!
