I do not agree with the aggressive behaviour of some of the other people saying this, but this song really was not in MGS1. I played it through just last month expecting to hear it, and didn't... That is unless it's in the VR missions or whatever, because I didn't touch them. It is definitely not in the actual game though :) I believe this them was either introduced in Twin Snakes, or MGS2.

But the Original Theme of the game Metal Gear Solid, is the intro theme... this piece of music is NOT in Metal Gear Solid, its in Metal Gear Solid 2 and further but NOT Metal Gear Solid.. you need to get your facts right before you try to insult somebody, This is the theme for Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear Solid 3's would of course be Snake Eater.. and Metal Gear Solid 4's could be something else this piece of music has NOTHING to do with the Original Metal Gear Solid ya fucking jackasses.
