This song by Boris Fomin/Konstantin Podrevsky. In Russian the name of this song "Dorogoj dlinnoyu"("On The Long Road"). Famoust russian singer Alexander Vertinsky has made a hit of this song (between 1917 and 1924). McCartney has helped Mary Hopkins to make this song a hit all over the world
