I like her. Problem is that people don't 'believe' in scientific principles.

One accepts scientific theories based on observation and repeated testing. Evolution is a fact, facts are a one or a zero, no explanation. Theories are sets of facts and Laws that offer an explanation of those facts and laws....theories are a unified framework if you will. Evolution is better supported than Newton's Laws (which are wrong by the way) or Atomic Theory.

I'm from the UK and have been watching all these videos. I originally likes Miss South Carolina and Miss Maryland, because they didn't fall into the trap of being equivocal and trying to please everyone. But now I've seen Miss California, I have to say, her answers are great. She shows education, and she lets her own personality shine through. Plus she's a total geek! She doesn't hide her flaws, so: deserving winner.

Haven't understood the hype since she was crowned. Sure, she'll make Top 15 (she's on my list, too), but I'm not as blindly enthralled with her as everyone else seems to be. I'm on Arizona- Brittany Brannon is MUCH more exotic and mesmerizing.

She does not stand out in the crowd with all the girls and certainly she lacks a lot more bubbliness. Cute girl. Seems more teenager-like than 21 years old. Even so, the New Jersey girl has made many fans in the Golden State. She's at her best when in the hands of good makeup artists and good photographers. I doubt if that will help her win this type contest, but she will undoubtably have a great modeling career. Even though there are several beautiful women in this pageant, I think Alyssa will represent well on pageant night. As of now, Miss South Carolina seems like 'the total package'.
