Actually we run 3S lipo in the boat to get the results seen in the video. One of our customers put a 4S in it and he said he can rarely open it up to full throttle. Too much power. The motor being an outrunner, it develops a lot more torque than an inrunner and can swing a bigger prop!

Nice to see that those people finally bring a STEPPED deepV onto the RTR market. Stepped hulls run so much better and gives longer runtimes. What battery is used in this model? Looking at the Kv rating of the motor it would have to be a 4S lipo.
