If they regard congress and the courts as their enemies, and feel able to lie at will under oath to protect what they think they are doing then it seems that we in the public, the congress or the courts have little choice but to consider them untrustworthy enemies ourselves. I understand that the CIA must maintain some level of secrecy, but there has to be oversight so that the balance of power can be maintained rather than abused. I know many people have great faith in our government, but power corrupts they are human beings just as we are. The CIA should be beholden to the courts and the law.
