It's a shame that more people don't share his attitude. You view the comments on any martial arts video on Youtube, and tha majority of it is ignorant shit talking and it just makes me fucking sick. "Oh my style is better" or "try this against an MMA guy" or "this would never work on the street, it's all flash", fuck all of that!! If people would spend more time learning with an open mind instead of just giving voice to their ignorance, the world would be a better place

Sifu that was an excellent video interview . Duane and I have become close friends and I have been interviewed by him too. Your ideas on being yourself and making it your own I love that . I like the fact that you mentioned that slander and politics are not part of a true martial artist.

Emil has grasped the concept that which does not evolve becomes extinct. He is changing, adapting and improving his martial arts, and by doing so is following in the footsteps of all the great sifus and innovators, not least of whom was Bruce Lee.

Yet Emil retains his humility and gentle good nature. A very talented and very charming man.

His students are indeed fortunate, and his techniques may well save lives. Well done Emil.
