@Satyrn14 That is exactly right, hold them against their word. If it is UNSAFE DON"T DO IT! I use that one against them as much as I can. They tell me that I am working to slow, and I tell them I am working as "safe" as I can. They walk away.

Why is there a FedEx trailer in a UPS yard? I'm a part-time sup and have a close working relationship with my workers. What you don't understand as to why we seem to make you rush, is we're being rushed by our supervisor and manager. So for those of you that have those sups that are always getting on you, I'm sorry, I had that happen to me when I was an hourly and hated it and that's why I don't do that to my employees.

@Shasta11111111 its not a UPS yard, its a CPU, As a feeder driver its amazing how much we just do our job and not care with the soups say or do, they cant rush us or anything, because if we crash, they are fired, that simple. If they tell us to hurry up, simple answer is, speed limit is still 55mph

@nickt916 Oh that's why. I supervise the loaders on the preload shift and don't really have much interaction with the feeder drivers, unless I have to go up to the office. I do know some feeder drivers and they are very good at what they do. Without them, everybody in the building wouldn't be able to do their job.

UPS is way better than Fed Ex, Fed Ex drivers speed, tailgate, and switch lanes too much. Union drivers are always better than non union...

FedEx drivers also don't use their signals like they should. I just feel the anger of a FedEx driver when they pass me on the road. in fact I saw a FedEx guy the other day on the road pass me he merged into the fast lane no signal and merged back into the slow lane with out signaling.

good stuff!!! my dad is a feeder driver. he has been doing it for almost 30+ years...with no accidents. hes in some kind of hall of fame for 25+ years safe driving...you guys work your ass off day in and day out...stay safe out there!!! and screw the guy below me...its BROWN for life

Bet no one ever seen a double hook from the dock and not even leaving the cab. Seen a guy from Consolidated Freight do it. It was cool to watch then a friend of mine said that same guy did a triple from the dock..Loaded and put on the line for the OTR guys.
