2nd time saw them now but they were no where near as good in V,still enjoyed it and think Ian watkins funny chap, but if they knew they were gonna struggle with the set, why didn't he stay sober? Sorry didn't get to hear Last Summer or Rooftops, they classic and true crowd pleaser songs.

I love lostprophets. I've seen them a couple of times before and I was dissappointed at V. Was it just me who thought it felt like they were struggling? And Ian Watkins looked ill I thought. Think to carry on though when they're a crucial player down shows committment!

That could be because they're a little out of place at V, which is mostly indy, so their hits go down better. Also they were added to the fest list quite near the time so not many huge fans woulda been able to buy tickets like just for them.

i bought a ticket just for them :D

i cant believe the guitarist was in hospital, 3 rows from the front and the only song i liked was last train home, was waiting for rooftops, burn burn and last summer:\ all though i mainly went for muse and phonics anyway so it was cool

Tell you what....when I said set-list for Chelmsford I meant Stafford. My bad!

The set list for Chelmsford included Burn Burn and Last Summer but that all changed. Maybe due to Lee being with his misses at the hospital...I don't know.

Charlotte, come to a real Lostprophets gig when they tour with the album next year. V was my 5th show and it was the most dead I have ever known a crowd for them. When all the loyal Prophets are there then the atmosphere is incredible.

i think its difficult, yeah, i agree about the having to make the set a little more pop-ish, less rock, for the audience, but i still think they did an amazing job - but would love to see them in their own gig, see what they can really do, cause i reckon it would be a lot more. People are too easily offended, I was bouncing :)

I'm recording this just ahead of you at 14 seconds. Amazing huh? It was a wierd one for the true LP fans because they had to play less heavy songs for the V audience. My other point...the audience were pretty rubbish for Lostprophets. I don't think they understand it at all. We bounced around as usual and people were offended by it. No wonder Burn Burn was taken off the set-list!
