There is new knowledge coming through on the fact food is not sustaining the physical body - breatharianism is gaining popularity, as fitness PRACTICE daily brings in higher energy into the body, away from anorexia and starvation. This may all sound whacked out and crazy but Im letting all you people transitioning to a vegan lifestyle FITNESS IS LIFE and that is the real way to be healthy dont let the food industry brainwash you with protein, nutrition, etc. YOU ARE GOD. Help awake the others...
I dont want o offend you but you need to realize canned food (the olives you bought) not gonna help you..heavily salted dear.. to much sodium is not good better off with fresh olives
Easy to buy and make and very delicious. Buy a bag of baby spinache leafs (of crouse growing your own beats most shop baught products) depending on the size of the bag and the size of the portion you want take about half the bag and put it in a bowl. Add a few heads of broccoli and cauliflower (raw) and some sunflower seeds. Mix well and enjoy. (you can add vegetable or seed oils for extra flavour if you want). I like to add some freshly chopped mushrooms just to add to the earthy flavour.
you know what. I am feeling like really excited about veganism now. I like the idea of vegetables, i love them. I don't know why i do, they're fresh and just taste so good to me LOL.. My sister won't go near vegetables.. But me, nope i'm actually craving melon right now, cranberrie juice, AHHH
Oh my gods, don't talk to me about fresh fruit and veg, my partner hasn't washed the dishes in weeks and the kitchen is so bad I can't stand to touch it to clean it myself so I can't cook anything from scratch. I don't even have a plate!!! :-(
I'm eating only packet food and I'm sick now and I'm sure that has something to do with it :-(
You know o._o One thing that is creeping me out, is the fact that you can't naturally get B12 from plant matter. It's not really a case of what we were meant to eat for me, but i think that's the problem for a lot of meat eaters. You might not need it but i think that's what's bugging me right now. Damnit ya just can't win can ya lol.
Watch Veganism 101: Vegan Nutrition vs Animal Agriculture Spin. Its in my veganism 101 playlist on my channel, at the end it has info on B12 which should answer this question for you :-)
i want to give veganism a test, and my self. how long do you think it would take for me to notice a change in my overall health? i am currently a carnivore
It would depend, everyone is an individual. For me it took a couple of weeks to notice a difference and longer for a more significant change to take place across the board, a few months perhaps. I definately recommend veganism, I find my diet is much more varied and tasty now because in the initial stages you tend to try out new foods and as you have seen from my 12 months vegan video my health has improved significantly. Then of course there is the benefit of living a more ethical life :-)
I haven't found it in hummus but I did buy some jarred ginger which listed it as an ingredient, I didn't see that though until I bought it though because I had figured the jar would contain ginger :-(
Hm, about the lactic acid. There are non-animal sources. In Scotland, if you recall the "Sheese" product, they got "lactic acid" as their ingredient also with a "(non-dairy)" in their brackets.
The thing is, if products that are intended to be there without animal-ingredients, there will be such an indication along with the "lactic acid" or let alone, the various "vegan" emblems
I thought I'd drop by and bring this up. But I find that lactic acid is usually animal-based if nothing else is said
(To us, those are in a bag, or a package. A packet is like, a bundle of papers that you might receive at a meeting at work or something. Sorry if you already know that kinda stuff or think its boring. I happen to be really interested in linguistics & dialect, etc.)
There are so many little cultural differences between English speaking people from different nationalities. Like my partners parents are English and Scottish and they call all kitchenware 'pots' including cutlery and crockery...its so weird??!!
The way Aussies say long "o" is very strange. You almost put like an "r" into it or something?? Sometimes my husband will walk in while I'm watching one of your videos, and he'll try to imitate the way you say "o" and then I'll say "No its like this _______" and we'll go back and forth trying to sound like you! LOL
Hummus!!!!! I luv that stuff!! I make it at home but be sort of careful...I am an overeater and this stuff is so delish that I can't stop and I actually started to gain weight on it!! lol. But really it is such a nice spread for sandwiches, wraps, mix into stir fry...it's very versatile and I make mine with a ton of garlic. But yeah, if you actually find you are bored with veganism or you can't get enough fat in your diet (which I have NO problem doing) hummus is the way to go. Dip veggies too!
Are you serious!!! I think that is how they are mostly consumed here, all mushed up in a can for you LOL...I had no idea they didn't do that everywhere! I guess you would just put them in a blender first?? The Italians have one day a year after tomato harvest when they boil up all the tomatos in big pots and can or bottle it as a sauce and then use it all year. I guess that's where the concept of canned tomatoes comes from :)
I am glad that was helpful :) There are things u can do where you maybe do a few hours of cooking a week and that's it and you can eat yummy and easy food. Believe me, I am the laziest vegan on this planet LOL :)
We have mango flavored pineapple in the US, but not stuff like that.

You look awful thin, vegans have a bad rep of undereating. You should take better care of yourself. Put olive oil on everything!

Awsome vid. I made something similar to that yesterday, and I have a big pot of stuff in the fridge now (some to take to work, yum!)
I was so pissed that my noodles had egg-whites in them, though...I'll have to try that brand that you showed "Orgran"? Or something to that affect.
I also added you too! Kudos!

do vegans count calories wen theyre tryin to lose weight or is the non animal already good enough?
KARINinLaLaLand 3 years ago
Personally I have never counted a calorie. I can eat whatever I want and weight is not an issue for me personally now I'm vegan :-)

Your accent took me a while to get used to. The way you say long "o" is soooo strange! Though I'm sure I'd probably sound strange to you too!
When you read the label you're saying "baby greens"? It rrrreally sounds like you're saying "baby leaves" @ 2:29. Weird.

Ok, you're right, I said baby leaves...but I wouldn't usually, that's just what it said on the packet :)
