No offence to anybody ( iLOVE this song) but i feel that religion is something to rely on and make you feel better over all, because if there was ONE god there wouldent be all these religions and places to go when you die (IE heaven/hell). Yet again no offence but i feel that going with the flow is much better than following rules of anykind. except for humaic things, like not to kill unless necessarily.

Being a Christian is so much more than just 'feeling good' and if you've gone through true repentance it feels like the exact opposite of 'good'. Pray to Him for a sign to come to you in order that you might see His presence. The God I serve will answer you in one way or another. The answer may be in different forms and I don't know how He will but I have the faith in Him that he will hear your prayer. He may answer by someone just saying something to you or a dream.

Why not make himself present to us in a clear and direct way, not the speculative "God must have done that" for pure happenstance? Entertainment? Boredom? Does he feel emotion? No religion is correct. Any man that claims he's spoken to a deity personally is either lying or delusional. What separates the preacher who has spoken directly to God and the man who claims to have been abducted by UFOs? Neither is verifiable, yet we call the "abductee" crazy.

@idealfury I can assure her that if she wants to know the God that knows me, that she can know Him as well. When someone knows the one true God personally, then you can assure anyone that He is real. It's takes faith to believe that and I don't want to be argumentative but that's the way it is for me. It is easy to ask why Christ had to die. Why couldn't God just forgive? If Christ had not died for our sins, how would we have known that he had forgiven us? Where would the proof have been? Perhaps Christ didn't just die to save us. Maybe he died as proof of the forgiving power of Christ. We need to remember the equally important part of the death of Christ. He rose again, defeating death and giving the ultimate gift of grace.

God is holy, merciful, loving, graceful, and just. He loves all. It is possible to love the sinner while hating the sin. That is what our Father does for us!

easy---not all christians are created equal. I would not talk to just anyone that claims to be Christian. Some can be obnoxious. Really. Enjoy the music. Do not rush into anything. I am Catholic btw. I go to mass several times a week. I'm not better or less than anyone else that believes in a God. I keep my prayer life private.

@901Cathy i am a christian as i was a child i was baptized this way this song in the river the lord set an example for us when he was baptized and filled with the holy spirit by john the Baptist.the lord died for our sins,who are we to judge how other people belieifs but i know my lord is real.he works miracles in my life everyday he is the alfa and omega the beginning and the end. i just pray i can be a good person and live in heaven someday

B.I.B.L.E. - Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. GOD was not very nice in the Old Testament. The New Testament- When HE sent HIS only SON to live among the meek and the poor, JESUS asks GOD to have mercy on them, as JESUS had seen all the pain and suffering of the people. GOD then became merciful, loving, patient, and understanding. Gotta LOVE JESUS :-) I know I do.

It is easy to ask why Christ had to die. Why couldn't God just forgive? If Christ had not died for our sins, how would we have known that he had forgiven us? Where would the proof have been? Perhaps Christ didn't just die to save us. Maybe he died as proof of the forgiving power of Christ. We need to remember the equally important part of the death of Christ. He rose again, defeating death and giving the ultimate gift of grace.

@Tychoxi God gave people free will and we just screwed it up. We got our chance. People do bad things. People misinterpret the bible. People wrote the bible and made mistakes. I've been from Christian to Aethiest to Agnostic because of things people have done. I still don't know what I believe, but I know that if there is a god, it's not his fault that people suck.

@Tychoxi God is a merciful and graceful god. That is why he sent his son to die. He sent his son to die for us because the wages of sin is death. That is not what he desired for us, so he made a way for us to live in eternity with him. God loves all. No one is outside of the boundaries of his grace. Some simply choose to ignore them. God is holy, merciful, loving, graceful, and just. He loves all. It is possible to love the sinner while hating the sin. That is what our Father does for us!
