thnx 4 uploading! could pls send me the ying? cus i also play the gao ying sheng in my school. u sure r a pro in gao ying sheng i bet i am not even half as good as u!
You play very good! I am a professional Suona player, and I can hear from your playing even better than many of the "professional" Sheng player. Keep on going!
Impressive! use Forth finger to play GaoYinSheng. I played ZhongYinSheng and suona. Instrutor also Mr. Ong Yi Horng, same as Kelvin. A very interesting Mozart's Turkish March played. Impressive!
wonderful, i love your work,!! it all started with the "Sheng" first 2000 years ago! an then came , the organ, the bassoon, the harmonica an accordion!
it's a traditional Chinese reed pipe mouth organ, called the sheng. The version here is a fully chromatic one, as compared to the traditional hand-held ones (see my other vids).
Similar instruments that have its lineage traced to the sheng are found in many parts of South-east asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia etc) and even the harmonica and pipe organ are said to be derived from the sheng.
NICE!!!!
