  • Lol, got this as part of a H/W portfolio from my Tech teacher

  • While this video helped me to understand how it cant be cut like regular steel with a blow torch (the blow torch melts it as if it were aluminum), but at what point does it lose it's magntism? Is it when the other elements are added into the vad with the melted steal? Or is it the chrome?

  • that must be a huge fucking factory

  • Does chromium melt at lower temps then steel? It looked like they kept it nice and white hot making it without much problems though.

  • @garycalgary Romanian subtitle.

  • How on EARTH did they discover Argon gass could be used in steel manufacture?

  • Is this something that you can make on a stove-top, or this only for the industrial giant? Stainless steel seems to be a superior invention.

  • @elizabethlerer gee, I wonder, can we make hot molten steel on the range, by the way, you might want to check your insurance, both health and homeowner

  • "this coil.. rolls the strip toightley... like a rowll of toilet paypa" quote of 2008

  • toight like a toiger!

  • i jus love how some of these videos on steel making are so incorrect when it comes to the details.

  • correct it then, you´ve made me curious

  • I was just referring to the part of the vid where the casting process was completely skipped. He also said "the bubbling steel soup flows out of the refine furnace AS it's cast into slabs"....meaning the ladle is further processed at the LMF for casting, then, it's shipped to the caster which is a whole other world. They didn't really show much about that piticular process which kinda pissed me off a bit. If you want to see a REAL vid, check out my steel casting vid on my channel thing.

  • Is this steel made to build nuts cars home appliances? Thanks

  • are you asking me about this piticular vid? There are numerous apps for stainless steel grades. Sinks, many home appliances, and much more. I cast steel for line pipe steel, construction apps, and also, high C/Mn grades for heavy plate apps.

  • ms omule...chiar m-ai ajutat sa nu iau un 4:D
