hey hey! can you tell me the advantages or disadvantages in using direct drum samples in audio-channels then using multiple samples in exs24 or ultrabeat? is it just for you can manipulate every single note? i find it pretty hard programming drums with setting them in audio-channels :/

the only thing is that there already made..... with ultrabeat and exs24 you have to fidel with it to get the sound but it just takes more time....im looking for a tutorial on how to use ultrabeat to perfect my kicks and snares ....$100 on stupid samples and etc soo not worth it...even though its hard its best to learn just in case as well just saying

when you do all of these eq boosts, youre going to get massive gains on your mixer, Do you just pull your mixer back until your snare are sitting around -10 again or do you throw a limiter or something on them to keep them loud without too much gain on the mixer
