Back then the holy paladin was almost unkillable but being unkillable he also COULDNT kill, his damage was pathetic. Your talking about " can i haz op meteor " the shockadin revolves around burst damage at one attack.

Really, unless you play a class that broken and beat 2-3 guys at the same time without a shield ( The holy paladin's shield helped alot in its survivability, if you paid attention you'd notice he risks gaining more spell dmg rather than the shields help ) then talk. If your garbage and played after Pallys were buffed thengtfo

the most skilled player - since every class could be mastered and specced to defeat any other class - yes it can be hard for a warr to beat a frost mage - but then warrs could get frost relfector in engineering etc + all other kinds of stuff

The problem with vanilla WoW was gear availability.

High Warlord was a ridiculously hard to obtain achievement that was often only gotten through a collab of people on the same character.

So Hybrids and healers were always at a disadvantage in PvP for that reason. Either heal in PvP, or wear non-set gear that you might obtain while healing for a guild.

TBC's problem was people who cried welfare, and WotLK's problem is almost complete disregard for PvP balance.

I'm becoming one of those people who miss Vanilla WoW for it's endearing problems over current day WoW for it's community-biased ones.
