From the unbelievablly innatentive way you drive your scooter with hands constantly comming off the controls while doing a distracting narrative to camera I'd think this accident was largely your fault in that you could have avoided almost killing this man by being more road-aware. People in that country do not respect the rules of the road as much as they should - so you should drive with this in mind and be more aware on corners. Just because you have the road markings on your side etc.

hey mordeth i just did a jury service, it was a woman who clipped a 18year old female cyclist here in new zealand and killed her. We found the driver guilty on careless driving causing death(down from man slaughter), This serves to me as a wake up call, no matter how much you hate cyclists, never ever hit them, they are worth more trouble than they are worth. FYI If cyclists want road user rights they better start paying Road user taxes.
