The problem is not in the software but the zig-zag line where the sound of speach meats the way the word are to be written in english or french or many other languages. The ultimate languages are those where for each speach sound there is only one letter - Bulgarian for example (my language). ;)

Look in control panel, you may have Speech Recognition there, you must also have a microphone.

next time in the beginning just say switch to calculator, and voila! I been using speech recogntion, and it's mainly the commands you say is the error..suggest that you print out all the commands.

Have you trained your Vista to understand your voice? I am using my speech recognition to write this cause yes I am lazy, but to show people if done right it does work. You think its gonna do everything you say you need to TEACH the program and it will get better.

The lameness, explained; In the Vista Calculator, they didn't do any multiple-keyword entries, so you can't say Hexidecimal, it's "Hex". Decimal is "Dek" or "Des". Cosine is "Cos" or "Coz". Squared is "X Up-Carat Two". I'm pretty sure to get a square root you have to say "Squirt". It also doesn't know the difference between C and CE, so you have to say "1, ok" or "2, ok". And apparently, it doesn't know the difference between 2 and "x^2", so you have to say "1, ok" everytime you say "2".
