I did this install about a year ago and it has been wonderful! Two questions, one how do I update the Android os to the latest? 2.3.7 I belive? Correct me if I'm wrong. And two, I always have programs running in the background. Is there a fix for that?

Followed the vid to the letter, had one hickup, had to reflash back to the stock WM6.5 rom, then retried, now have a fully working HD2 with stock Desire 2.2 Android, certainly given my HD2 a new lease of life, many thanks for the tutorial.

A factory reset is when its done from inside the OS, be that WM or Android, so only sets what ever you have loaded up back to default. So if you have loaded Android onto the phone, but then do a factory reset at any time, it will still be android, just you lose any data/tweaks and so on you may have done. To go back to WM you have to re-flash the phone with a stock WM 6.5 Rom, these can be found on the XDA forum. Hope this helps.

@BachiM13 i did installed MAGDLR without changing my SPL. and i ended up at HTC Logowithout able to boot.

so i had to go into bootloader and flash in 2.08HSPL then MAGDLR ran just fine... then installed "rafdroid" like instructions told me :) i didn't regret. SD version is muuuchh slower! NAND ftw!

anyways... problems about installing THIS version. I have no idea. I've installed [CWM] RAFDROID HD 4.0.2 just today, and i think i'll stay with this one since it seems the most stable of all Desire HD roms so far. Plus, im scared of installing ANDROID without SDcard cause one of xda said it would leave 5MB space on your device lolol. i can't imagine something like that being stable ;p

@cyberone24 well basicly u DO need an SD card, because its the place where u put zip files needed to install. plus Rafdroid since its size... uses ext3 partition on your sd. so u gotta make one before installing it.
