  • I love ur account name LOL its great

  • Hey m8... Im in the UK and have a ninja 250r... got my 09 model in Dec 2008 and paid £3295 brand new... also, not sure how technically minded you are but you can put a 130 tyre on the front and a 150 on the rear

  • Yeah in 2008 they were £3300 new, in 2009 they were £3900 new due to tax and shipping and stuff :-( Can't remember the tyre sizes, should be in the manual? The stock tyres are not as bad as I thought, I'm on my second pair now using Avon RoadRunners and I can't tell the difference in performance to be honest.

  • Did you sell your bike? I have a 2009 Ninja 250R special edition with only 450 miles on it for sale...Any takers?

  • Sir, Hyosung is not Chinese It is Korean and one of the suzuki's old producers...

  • looks pretty decent on accelaration when u overtook those 2 vehicles. Also the UK bike is fuel injected so im guessing it may be a bit faster that the yanks carburated 1?

  • Yeah I can keep up with most riders who don't take motorcycling too seriously, check out my 0-90mph video for a better idea of its acceleration.

  • admit it steady2wheels...you're a yank and you don't know what the fuck you're talking about

  • Now fuck off seriously, you;re the thickest cunt on Youtube...and that's saying a lot considering there are many on here. But deep down I just suspect you;re a tank talking out his arse. :D

  • wow this video is proof that people actualy stick to the 33bhp restriction rubbish! I thnik people should go with what theyre comfortable and safe with

  • I think that's what it used to be like in the UK.

  • You obviously don't know what the effing hell you're talking about...you can take the accelerated course so you don't have to stick to the 33bhp rule as long as you're over 21 that is...otherwise you can take the regular test and then wait two years BUT you can also take the accelerated course within the two years if you get bored. Get it? And no the Hyosang (whatever it's called) is Korean not Chinese...but still poor quality anyway.

  • was that seriously addressed to me? It makes no sense if it was. My comment was in reference to those under 21 whom are also british. I dont really understand what your comment was getting at

  • Well obviously you're not very smart then because you were referring to the bloke in this video...and if you think he is under 21 (when in fact he sounds in his 30s) then you don't get out much. Also, stupid thing you say cos then if you're under 21 and you don't "stick to the restriction rubbish" like you say...you lose your licence. You thought it was optional or something? bahahahaha...what planet are you from?

  • 1. why the abuse? Is there something so wrong with your life you have to start arguments and insult others? how pathetic. 2. he is under 21. 3. I have been riding for many years and done several advance rider training courses and have over 50000 miles worth of motorcycle experience 4. Hardly anyone I know have their bikes restricted most are sensible enough to decide what is powerful enough for them. 5. I ride a zx6r and am soon to get a tl1000r and have never had an accident

  • The abuse cos you're obviously a thick twat. Ok, so you've taken "several advance rider training courses" whatever that means and you're telling everyone to do something ILLEGAL. What part of thick cunt don't you get? Apart from anything restricted motorbikes are a FUCKING MYTH you wanker. 99 per cent of insurance companies wont insure fresh licenced rider on a restricted 600 or whateverw..that's a fact jack. So go on tell everyone to do aay with silly insurance as well...bahahaha

  • And to continue: even if you do find an insurance company to insure your restricted bike, they'll make you pay a boat load of money because 1) the bikes value is not restricted 2) the bigger the bike the more a target for thieves...

  • But after all is said and done this is why I think you're the biggest plonker on the planet: hardly anyone you know has a restricted bike, yeah? Well if they catch those idiots not only will they be in breach of that offence but they will also be riding without insurance seeing your insurance is anulled for de-restricting the bike and so you will LOSE YOUR EFFING LICENCE. What part of that don;t you understand? You're telling everyone they should risk their licence? MORON!!!!!

  • theres something seriously wrong with you, I feel sorry for you

  • I think there's something seriously wrong with you if you're telling people to do something illegal mate and risk losing their licence...that's my opinion anyway.

  • you dont even live in this country! What a tart. How can you judge anything? you shouldnt even be allowed an oppinion, piss off back to whatever backwater little country you come from you offensive rude git

  • So you believe I come from Tuvalu? lol...

  • wow, dude youre an idiot. i feel sorry sharing this planet with you

  • well don't then and fuck off to another planet...

  • Those new ninja 250s are very nice looking bikes.

  • Thanks swipe, they look alright, it's just the skinny wheel and chrome exhaust I don't like. I think the WR250X is the most attractive 250cc :~)

  • get a hornet 250, they look cool, are inexpensive, very reliable, so ive heard, and have the fastest 0-60 time for a 250, even qiucker to 60 than the cbr 250rr, as they both have the same engine but the hornet is lighter. you can pick one up in ireland for between 2000 and 3000, although i have yet to see one for sale in england, think you gotta come here to buy one, because every japanese import comes through galway, and the hornet is strictly retailed in japan and nowhere else

  • Bit late now, I've already bought mine lol, is the Hornet an inline 4?

  • ya its an inline four, sounds beautiful, and suposedly rides very well, although i dont have mine yet so i dont know for sure, just type in hornet 250 on youtube and youll hear the noise , you never get tired of it!

  • Does not really matter........ 250cc bike on a race track wins over the power monster bikes. thats all a care. heheh

  • I don't think my bike's going to be winning any MotoGPs any time soon

  • The CBF 250 or the 250 Hornet...

The Ninja 250 in my opinion was WAY to expensive for what it is...

Nice bike but not worth the mnoney. Still if people like it they like it who am I to complain.

I hated sports bikes but own one myself... I would still rather ride a naked or cruiser though. You cant really by naked bikes anymore mind... quite upsetting really... :(

Everythng is coated in plastic wank

  • Do they still make those? I forgot to mention that I wanted a relatively new bike because of the reliability they offer. I like the look of naked ones better but faired ones have more weather protection

  • I do believe they still make the CBF or they may have discontinued it last year... emmisions laws... LAME. Either way the honda bikes would be reliable church or mental asylum as attracting nut cases... rust me... I used to work at one of the mentioned... take a guess... And I still own a honda :D

I love naked bikes... and weather protection is more wind protection and that doesnt really factor in until you pass 80mph. Ive sat at 80 - 90 all day on motorways fine on a naked CB. Good bikes :D

  • Where do you live mate?

  • Yorkshire

  • Yeah! But it messes up the bike.. Im going to get a ninja then, Well when i pass my test.

  • When you're ready for the Ninja you should be able to get a nice '08 plate one for about £2,500

  • Damm!! I just found out that, even with a full UK motorcycle licence its not possible to get something like a 500cc only an engine size of 33bhp. You have to wait to years with the full licence to drive a bigger bike is all this information correct?..

  • engine size and engine power are two different things. You can get a 1300cc super sports bike with 180bhp, and restrict its power down to 33bhp and then ride it

  • nice timing with the filtering at the lights lol

  • Yeah and I passed that speeding Audi lol

  • i plan to pass my CBT next year and do my Direct Access the year after. i'd love to get a Honda VFR400r, ive heard they're really easy to restrict as they are Carburated.

  • Yeah, I think smaller engine bikes restrict easier than the big ones do.

  • cheaper insurance aswell

  • The guys at my local garage said you can get a 600 and restrict it with no problems. They said it shouldn't run lean and won't be gutless. So I might just do that when I pass my test.

  • I bet my Ninja could out perform one.

  • We will see when I get one, I'll give you a drag race ;-)

  • If i get my full motorcycle licence before im 18 will i still be able to drive a suzuki 650f on a full uk licence. (Motorcycle)..

  • yeah but it'll have to be restricted from about 80bhp to 33bhp for 2 years.

  • 1st on everything

  • What you want, a medal?
