I watched/laughed this video for years and i realized what makes him miss the lay-up. Notice that the entire time he's running down the court, he never turns his head and looks to see where he is/going. By the time he get's the ball, he doesnt know where he is or his position around the goal. This was all just a mental error. happened to me once and i got dunked on for it. Lost where i was on the court.
