It is nonsense, when you speak instead of others. Do they really do all these stuff for the sake of Iraqis? Where was Mr. Sponeck when he was getting thousands of Dollars from Iraqi money?

Von Sponeck is a hero. But our *only* job, for U.S. political activists, is to get the U.S. military and PMCs out of Iraq.
All the other elements of the Von Sponeck plan are only possible for Iraqis and perhaps, the U.N.
Von Sponeck regards U.S. domestic political problems conveniently, outside his scope. "Not his problem". That is the weakness, here.

Dear ToddBoyle,
As an Iraqi I think this initiative is very important. We need to create a vision of the better world we want to live in and go for it. The media manipulations on Iraq is so great, that many peace campaigners feel despondent about the whole situation. Every time we have Crocker and Petreaus in Congress we should also have an Iraqi perspective at the UN, but we don't! Bush&Co still acting as a judge Jury and executioner with very few people in the world standing up to them.

So far there are two comments in praise. There should be 2 million and as michaelsynn says it should be viewed by a wider public. Mr von Sponeck is a most humane man and his views resonate totally in me. Bless him for his desire for truth and justice.
