I like to think of the lottery as a more exciting bank account. I deposit into it faithfully every week and just when I least expect it, it pays out with interest. =-)
The lottery does not appeal to the younger generation as it does the those in their 30's, 40's, 50's and up. The younger gengeration knows the chances of winning the lottery are not that great and better chances of being rich by attending college for a better career. As you know, those who make good money do not play the lottery as it mostly the middle class and poor.
Law of attraction is very real This is how I know I will win the 87 million dollar powerball october 30th 2010 buy our dream home and a 2010 shelby super snake black on black while living a super SWEET LIFE!!
@WLKCONSULTING This is my only hope now,But I do believe I'll win the 20 million dollar powerball december 4th 2010 all debts will get paid in full thank you
@TheRemedy2012 Oh yes, the law of attraction is very real, like how the dimmest people of society will be attracted to the lottery for eternity.
A better gamble would be to save that ticket money for 6 months and try your best at investing, or something of the sort preferably in something u are interested in, but work at it and if it goes pear shaped you can at least learn from it and could try again and make money with ur otherwise wasted lottery ticket money. Effort = $'s not dreams.
A Toronto-area father and son who worked in a Canadian lottery outlet have been charged with stealing a winning ticket in 2003.
Jun-Chul Chung, 60, and Kenneth Chung, 28, face charges that include money laundering, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. Kenneth's sister, Kathleen Chung, 29, who allegedly falsely claimed to be the buyer of the winning ticket, has also been charged.

@FgMonsterz They look like the type that have probably got themselves into huge holes of debt spending thousands of dollars on the lottery every month. It worked out for them, but it doesn't for most people; no matter how much they spend on this addiction. The odds slightly go up for you when your buying 50 tickets a week lol.
this is why i don't agree with lotteries over giving to charity & community projects it may sound communist or socialist but seriously the $ can be better spent for teh community as a whole instead of 2 nobodies that will only waste it in slot machines & other superficial exploits.
winning the lotto is easy and hard trust me i spent 13hours getting a combo and i almost got it by a slide mistake on mega two step and cash five check out my video ''close to winning Texas two step'' last week mega was 15-18-33-48-54 i had 15-18-39-48-53
N3koda criminals win cause they dont care anymore? LoL that's the only things they care. Win. Profit. Plus, if u stop caring about win, u never win. Well exspecially in 100% luck games, it doenst matter wheter u care or not, as long as u lotto. The win comes if it comes, wheter u "care" or not..
Old people win because they don't care anymore, criminals win because they don't care anymore, people who have already won or have good jobs or good prospects win because they don't care anymore. They have no attatchment to the idea of winning, which is where one should be to win. Stop caring about winning then you'll win.
odds are you dont win the mega jackpot.....house always wins....you see these rare stories and makes people want to go and spend their stimulus check on lottery tickets
I believe each state has its individual lottery but IDK about states on the west coast (I'm from east coast). The Pennsylvania Lottery, where I'm from, the largest lottery (It's called The Powerball) starts at $20MILLION and increases by $10MILLION if no one wins it, every time it's played. It's played twice a week. It's not uncommon for the jackpot to reach $200MILLION. When someone wins it, it goes back to $20MILLION again and starts over.
Oh trust me they are happy. But after 1000 interview , 10 000 call , 150 000 charity call , 90 hours not sleeping and 500 beer they are tired and want to be left alone.
Mentioning a name of winner/s on TV can be risky but Im confused there are many rich people such as billionaires (like Bill Gates and Donald Trump), actors/actresses, high paying athletes (like football, wrestling and basketball) showing their faces on TV what is the difference?
I agree. I wish lottery will change the rule where nobody has to give out their identity. It is like you give them money because they won but by showing and giving everything about them you put these people in a risk. I feel so bad.
hmmm they have body guards prob lol and are so well know that you'd be scared to do anything. but if john and jane doe won and nobody really know them then what the heck...(u_u) but that is dangerous tho.
fuckin hell....i played little lotto in illinois $685,000 and lost from 2 numbers...all three numbers matched in same order but two numbers didnt..fuck!!!!!!!! got $10 though
When my state first started having the lottery, one of the first big winners was a guy with the same name as my dad, same small hometown as my dad. But it wasn't my dad! The phone rang off the hook for days. TV stations, radio stations, people we didn't know. Holy crap, it was irritating. I like Assenavadnama's response - if you win, just go away for awhile. Stop your mail and newspapers and just leave. I wish we could've done that...
You're right, anyway Im from the Philippines in claiming the lotto jackpot prize is tax free and the winner/s will not show their face/s if published in a newpaper the winner will only mention his/her work such as construction worker. Before like this video and now no more.
I agree with the other commenter about not saying anything if you win. We won $6 million in 2004 and the biggest mistake was telling people. We ended up going on vacation for 2 months to get away from people, we stayed in Fiji and didn't tell anyone where we were. Just vanished off the face of the planet for awhile.. We lost a lot of friends because of having the money and were actually called selfish when we bought a new home but didn't buy our "best friend" one as well.
Hi, congrats to you. Half your luck! However, it sounds like a good idea not to tell anyone, but sooner or later, I think those close to you will probably find it odd that we didn't have any money before ( or not much) and then we go and buy a house and some cars, they are going to know somethings up? How can we get around this?
My boyfriend and I bought 3 each because it was an exceptionally large jackpot (24 million). I usually buy none and he usually buys 1. The jackpot was one by 4 people. My boyfriend and I have no idea which one of us bought the winning ticket lol
thanks for letting me know. I hope I can win and be lucky too someday. I definitely won't tell anyone I won, but I will anonymously give money to good friends and family in need. I will also try to live a humble life to not draw attention. After all, nobody needs to know that I won right?
I won $720,000 ( I know it's small) but looking back I never would have told anyone about it . We invested it so we did ok but so many people asked us for money.
My advice to anyone is not to tell anyone about it. I made that mistake. We did find out who are true friends are. And find someone who can help you invest. That part is not easy but I did find someone.
